Historia
Robin Wilde has a beautiful six-year-old daughter, a job she's really rather good at, a wonderful best friend and an auntie who is bonkers, yes, but loves her to the moon and back. But Robin has a secret. Behind the mask she carefully applies every day, she can't shift the grey, lonely feelings of The Emptiness. She struggles to fit in with the school mum crew, online dating is totally despair-inducing and she worries all the time about raising her daughter with self-confidence, courage and joy.

Not great, not bad
Revisado: 11-02-17
This book walks the ok line pretty well, there were moments when I thought it was going to cross the line into great but alas it did not. Worth listening too but not one I would do over and over again.

Good but leaves you hanging
Revisado: 11-17-16
The story is an attention grabber and is hard to put down. The performance is great! The last line of the book will drop your jaw and leave you hanging in a way that you both love and hate at the same time.

Not bad but could be a better performance
Revisado: 04-29-16
Overall the book was great and the performance wasn't terrible but there were certainly things that were distracting. There were a lot of long awkward pauses that were uncalled for and would break the drama in some instances, also there were quite a few times when the reader would swallow loudly into the microphone and it was very gross.

Historia
Jodi and Todd are at a bad place in their marriage. Much is at stake, including the affluent life they lead in their beautiful waterfront condo in Chicago, as she, the killer, and he, the victim, rush haplessly toward the main event. He is a committed cheater; she lives and breathes denial. He exists in dual worlds; she likes to settle scores. He decides to play for keeps; she has nothing left to lose. Told in alternating voices, The Silent Wife is about a marriage in the throes of dissolution, a couple headed for catastrophe, concessions that can’t be made, and promises that won’t be kept.

Too long and performance is rough
Revisado: 04-20-16
If you're a very analytical type this book will be great for you but for me it was way too rambly and long with details that didn't assist the story line.
The performance is smooth but words and phrases are drawn out and breathy, it's almost done in a way that makes it seem like the female is trying to soothing but it comes off annoying and took too long to get through.

Good but long
Revisado: 02-18-16
The story and twists and turns are great but could've ended about 100 pages before it did. The plot was extended in places that became slow and hard to get through.
