Amazing story awful narration

I dearly love this book and have from the moment I cracked it open years ago but this narration was simply awful. Mr. Bernstein is unable to change character or accent in any way convincing and his attempts drastically take away from the wonder of this superb fantasy and are frankly laughable and distracting at best. Disappointed is an understatement and I hope someday this book is given another audio chance with a different reader!

OK story so far - but I cannot take the narrator

Horrible narration

The story is just as amazing as every McMahon book but the narrator is terrible. Her word inflection is so strange and almost whining. The story was so good but the narration took so much away from the enjoyment!
