I cannot believe out good this book was. I got it for free and I would have paid a whole credit for it. It gives me hope for the world we live in.

I do not know why everything Card writes is my new favorite sci-fi. It is probably because the techy stuff is believable. However, the best part is the people, the are people from so many walks of life, with so many perspectives. Yet some how you understand each of them completely and feel emotionally attached to all of them.

They story of the first formic war is completed, but I cannot wait to hear about the next.

As always the narrators were spot on, especially Stefan Rudnicki.

It was not comedy though it was funny. It was not sappy though it had drama. Totally, unexpected ending that will break your heart.

My family enjoyed the read.

This sequel picks up were Matched left off and the series flows natural. More background of the Society is appreciated.

Having two narrators gives us a nice perspective change keeping your interest.

This story, however, not one of my favorites in the dystopian sci-fi genera. (if that is a thing) It seemed a little slow and sentimental. Not boring, but you can set it aside for a few days without much angst. That being said, I will still listen to the next book just to satisfy my curiosity.

Would you consider the audio edition of Magic Marks the Spot to be better than the print version?

I have not read the print version. We enjoy audio books because we can enjoy them together as a family.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Magic Marks the Spot?

Hillary's first sword fight as a pirate. She used all of her pirate training as well as a few tricks picked up at finishing school.

What does Katherine Kellgren bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I read to my children with voices, but I could never keep up with all of the passion of Kellgren. Every person was unique, but no one was so over the top that they were annoying. She had great energy that drove the story. I didn't want to stop the van and miss a minutes. I hope she narrates the rest of the series.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

When you are finished with finishing school, try piracy.

Any additional comments?

We loved this book. It is one of the best listens we have ever had. I thought it was an old plot, 'Girl forgoes high society for adventure." However, this story was very original and had more than enough plot twists to keep even parents engaged.

Would you listen to The Hero's Guide to Storming the Castle again? Why?

We will be listening to Hero's Guide to Storming the Castle. This series has been something everyone in our family of seven can agree on. Everyone laughs.

We have two boys and three girls in the back seats, and with this book everyone was appeased. It was never deemed "Boy-y or Girly."

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Hero's Guide to Storming the Castle?

When Briar Rose uses the Sword to win a battle of wills.

Which character – as performed by Bronson Pinchot – was your favorite?

Briar Rose. She is such a horrible person, yet Bronson makes her sound so unbelievable sarcastic you can't help but smile.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Storming a Castle?
You and what army?

Any additional comments?

We definitely appreciated more of feminine leads. My girls are excited to be brave like the Princess Ella, Snow White, and Lila. Yet rough and tumble boys are totally engaged as well.

If you could sum up The Candymakers in three words, what would they be?

Sugar, Teamwork, and Intrigue

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Candymakers?

When we discovered someone was a spy.

Any additional comments?

We loved that we got to hear the story from everyone's point of view.

Would you listen to The Memory of Earth again? Why?

Yes, Stefan Rudnicki, has an amazing voice and Card has a wonderfully creative story.

Who was your favorite character and why?

The Oversoul. I like the logic and compassion that the computer has as it watches over humanity.

What about Stefan Rudnicki’s performance did you like?

My father never read to me as a child, if he had, I would have wanted him to sound just like Stefan! It is almost melodic, but he never makes you sleepy just relaxed enough that the story can take hold of you.

What made the experience of listening to Sarah: Women of Genesis the most enjoyable?

I enjoyed the narration and the twists on an Old Testament story I have hear a hundred times. Knowing the outcome didn't hinder the storyline for me. It was interesting to get Card's take on the motives and thoughts of the people in the story.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

At times is made my heart hurt to hear the thoughts of people who were so hurt or and others who were so ignorant.
