Damien and Millie Dickens are back for another adventure! Damien infiltrates a gang of Neo-Nazis who are trying to run non-white people out of the country by harrassment, intimidating and criminal activities such as fire-bombing business. Damien is asked by the police to go undercover to get evidence of who these people are and how to stop them. It becomes very personal when the targets are friends of theirs.

Meanwhile, Millie is working on her own investigation of one of the fine upstanding citizens of the community after a friend of hers and her mother - a survivor of the Holocaust - come to visit her. The mother recognizes this citizen as a Nazi who oversaw the concentration camp she was interred in during the war, and asks Millie to prove that he is this person and bring him up on charges.

I quite enjoyed the story, although there were one of two things I'll mention here - one technical, the other personal preference. The technical part: the narrator, who is great, doesn't leave enough space between the changes in POV to indicate that there is a change of POV from Damien to Millie and that is a bit jarring when you expect the narration to continue in one character and find that it's been switched.

The personal preference: I like the plot line, but I thought it would have been more interesting if the reader didn't learn about Damien's and Millie's plan right from the start, but were left to figure it out, or not, along with the characters in the book. Having said that, it didn't take anything away from the story having it written the way it was.

Great job, again.

I'm not sure why this story was split into 4 parts because the cut off of each part are in really weird places. This is just a continuation of two horny lovers.

Things keep progressing between the two lovers.

The problem with this installment of the story is the mistakes. The narrator stops and restarts a couple of times, and there are several mistakes in the story itself - like the sentence where they were driving home from the airport, they parked outside the airport. Or the fact that Randy had told Tanner in installment 2 that he had told his father that he was gay, but Tanner was shocked and upset that Randy tells him that his father knew about their relationship here.

Desire comes to a head as Tanner and Randy's relationship moves forward. They've moved into an apartment together and started dating, but decide to take things slow.

Different narrator this time, but same problem, there's no break between the paragraphs, so the listener is expecting more of the scene and it abruptly changes.

There is also a bit of an editing problem with this (and Part 3) where sentences/paragraphs are repeated.

Two college roommates try to come to terms with the acknowledgement of their sexuality while also trying to deny their attraction towards one another.

This was a decent enough story with engaging characters.

One problem is the fact that the narrator runs the paragraphs together, so it's jarring when the subject abruptly changes almost without the narrator drawing breath.

Book three of the Reverians trilogy is a satisfying conclusion to the books as Em and Zach work to bring down President Vider's utopic country. Em works to convince the Defects to not accept being converted, while Zach tries to find information to help bring down Vider's government. With the help of the middlings that Em frees from Vider's control, and the non-converted Defects does everything to free the Valley.

This is a wonderful conclusion to the trilogy, with danger, heartbreak, revenge, and love all vying for attention. Well done!

Book two of the Reverians. Things are definitely heating up as Em and Rogue come back to Austin Valley to try and stop Rogue's father and free the Reverians, the Defects. Together with Zach and Nona they plan a series of attacks to break the power Rogue's father has over the citizens. Along the way, hardship and heartbreak!

Sarah is a master in this world and captures the reader and brings them heart and soul into domain.

Defects is book one of the trilogy The Reverians in the Dream Travellers world. The Reverians are a cult like group of Dream Travellers living in a valley with middlings. Unfortunately, some of the younger Dream Travellers seem to have defects. They can travel but they don't have a gift. Em, the daughter of the president's chief of staff is one of the defects.

This has a younger tone to it, but by no means does this take away from the story. Think Harry Potter, enjoyable by anyone, not just young adults. The narrator is good. The story is quite good and I'm looking forward to reading the next in the series to see how things develop. Sarah Noffke draws you into her world quite easily.

I love Pemberley

I love Pemberley! I love Jane Austen's Dragons!! This is a wonderful series of books; Netherfield being the third in the series, and picks up right where Longbourn ends.

Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy are tasked with finding the rogue dragon that is somewhere on the Netherfield Estates and either getting him into the Blue Order or destroyed. Add to that task is the fact that Lydia and Wickham have disappeared and Jane has her hands full.

This concludes the trilogy of Jane Austen's Dragons, but there are more in the series, which I am hopeful of listening too.

The narrator, Benjamin Fife is excellent - would love to know how he changes his voice to sound like a fairy dragon, and Pemberley is as cute and demanding as she has always been.

This is the second book in the series and is as wonderful as the first. And I'm looking forward to the third. The one downfall of the books could be that, while able to be read on their own, there is definitely a continuation throughout the books.

Elizabeth is fighting against Longbourn and her father's demands to marry Collins; so much so that she leaves her home to get away from the dragon. She ends up in London until she finds that Pemberley, living with Mr. Darcy at Lady Catherine deBurgh's estate. Lady Catherine also wishes Elizabeth to marry Collins, and have Darcy marry her daughter.

Elizabeth goes to be with Pemberley and finds she has to deal with a dragon conclave over her leaving Longbourn, and Collins marriage proposal.

The story is great, the narrator does an excellent job with the characters and dragon's voices.
