Historia
From the author of Popular Economics comes a surprisingly sunny projection of America's future job market. Forget the doomsday predictions of sour-faced nostalgists who say automation and globalization will take away your dream job. The job market is only going to get better and better, according to economist John Tamny, who argues in The End of Work that the greatest gift of prosperity, beyond freedom from painful want, is the existence of work that is interesting.

Not inspiring
Revisado: 01-23-24
I wanted to like this book as I transition from one career to another, but it was mostly about professional athletes, actors, musicians, and other famous people. If you are looking for a career in sports, you may enjoy this book, but I’m never gonna be in the NFL.

Great book if your looking for honesty

I really liked this book. At first I wasn’t sure I’d like it as much as I did because Dan Harris and I don’t have much in common, but part way through I really started to enjoy his candid take on his own life experiences. It made me think about religion, meditation, relationships and change. Overall I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys autobiographies.

Historia
Bryan Stevenson was a young lawyer when he founded the Equal Justice Initiative, a legal practice dedicated to defending those most desperate and in need: the poor, the wrongly condemned, and women and children trapped in the farthest reaches of our criminal justice system. One of his first cases was that of Walter McMillian, a young man who was sentenced to die for a notorious murder he insisted he didn’t commit. The case drew Bryan into a tangle of conspiracy, political machination, and legal brinksmanship—and transformed his understanding of mercy and justice forever.

The reading of this book so bland it's hard listen to. Buy the book, NOT the Audible
