this is my second time through the series and I got to say, this is one of the books that got me hooked on audible. The performance was amazing. amazing! you just can't beat RC brays raspy voice, especially to the backdrop of post-apocalyptic zombie mayhem. It's a wonderful story, beautifully written and even more beautifully performed. you find yourself getting very attached to Gus and you want to see what happens with Scott and Amy and you just can't help but wanting more

The Davina Porter is one of my favorite narrators and I would listen to anything she reads but these books are such a wonderful escape to the early 19th century. Its a marvel how she brings it to life, time and time again. C.S. Harris does it again!

I love this book, The books are obviously always better than the TV show and it's true this time for sure. Roy the trees is probably one of my favorite narrators the different accents just makes a story. I have read the paper book but somehow this audiobook just does it for me. still waiting on winds of Winter!

Thoroughly hooked to the St.Cyr mysteries! This is a must read whether or not you've read the rest of the books or not. Period dramas and mysteries always encapsulate me in a way no other can. Davina Porter is the only narrator to do this series justice and she accomplishes that with style and grace befitting a viscountess.
