I love Angela Pepper and her books are awesome. The author notes are nice and they give a lot of insight into what’s it’s like to write professionally.

Strong story but

This is a strong story with lots of little twists and turns but what I found was that I was struggling on multiple occasions with the lack of clear transitions between scenes. Often I would have to rewind just to understand what had happened and how all of sudden she was in this location and what exactly had happened. Made the flow of this story disjointed. There are still scenes I’m confused about due to the lack of clear transitions…
