Historia
Kitty Harris has it all: cosily coupled up with boyfriend Archie, she’s putting in the hours at an ad agency to land her dream job. OK, so maybe they’ve become a bit too comfortable in their routine, with pizza night every Thursday, and maybe the agency isn’t so much up-and-coming as been-and-gone, but Kitty is happy. Until one diamond ring sitting pretty in her pepperoni ruins everything. Kitty does NOT want to get married, not after being caught in the crosshairs of her parent’s destructive divorce.

Everything about this was great

Best romance I've read in a long time. I loved everything about it! The characters were actually rounded, not so predictable, and the story was unique and heart tugging. Honestly I don't typically love the steamy bits in books - I tend to cringe a little at the word usage - but the scenes in here were surprisingly well done and hot! Haha. And the performance was great, love her voice and acting. Such a good read!

Historia
Twenty-five-year-old Julie Jacobs is heartbroken over the death of her beloved aunt Rose. But the shock goes even deeper when she learns that the woman who has been like a mother to her has left her entire estate to Julie’s twin sister. The only thing Julie receives is a key—one carried by her mother on the day she herself died—to a safety-deposit box in Siena, Italy.

Paint your toes. Pick up the wrong coffee and bagel order. Drive from Brooklyn to Jersey in traffic so slow you want to tear your hair out. It’s amazing all the useless things I can accomplish while on hold for three hours with customer service. Three hours when I should be getting the Date-in-a-Box website ready to launch at the big business expo in a few days. Except my shiny new website is glitching, and my inner rage-monster is ready to scorch some earth...when he finally picks up. Not the robot voice I expected but a real live human named Kal.

Although I happened to guess their unknown connection fairly early on, I like to think that was the author's intent. This book was adorable. a delight to listen to and a welcome break whenever I had a moment to myself in the car or at home. The last couple of chapters were so much. I really was squealing right along with the characters! My only wish was for an epilogue...but at the same time, meh, why chance the magic of those last moments. Thanks for the fun read!
