He had no wise teacher to reveal the secrets of power. Not even an ordinary family. No education, no money. He was orphaned and neglected. It was a rough start, to say the least.

Nothing really happens. I will still listen to the next book, but this is skippable. A 10 minute recap will cover most of this book…well a fast recap, maybe a normal 20 minute recap.
I had hopes with the beginning of the book, but it never seemed to realize. Let’s hope it works for the next one.
