Decent story line. This was the first time I’ve listened to an AI narrator, but a big fan.

Historia
Just as we were finding a way to get past our difficulties, the stars have torn us apart. Can I fight against the will of the heavens, or does fate have something unforeseen in store for me now? While we're reeling from the wheel of fate and trying to find a way to move on with our lives, our enemies are only growing more powerful. Felix Oscura is haunting Alestria with his bloodthirsty need to steal the power of the clan he was never destined to rule over. And, the illusive King is growing closer to their goal of taking control of the entire city and maybe even beyond.

In August 1939, just days before World War II broke out in Europe, a Jewish man in Vienna named Alfred Berger mailed a desperate letter to a stranger in America who shared his last name. Decades later, journalist Faris Cassell stumbled upon the stunning letter and became determined to uncover the story behind it. How did the American Bergers respond? Incredible
Revisado: 07-28-21
The way this book came to be is just incredible. I’m so happy the author took the time to do the research and find all the family. Still to this day people still don’t understand what truly happened. I learned of this when I was around 15. Since the first book we read in high school ive never stopped. I’ve read every book I’ve gotten my hands on. So many wonderful stories and way to many heartbreaking. This book is both.

Historia
For decades, Robert R. Fowler was a dominant force in Canadian foreign affairs. In one heart-stopping minute, all of that changed. On December 14, 2008, Fowler, acting as the UN Secretary General's Special Envoy to Niger, was kidnapped by Al Qaeda, becoming the highest-ranked UN official ever held captive. Along with his colleague Louis Guay, Fowler lived, slept, and ate with his captors for nearly five months, gaining rare first-hand insight into the motivations of the world's most feared terror group.

Incredible story. To hear what people go through and make it out is just heart wrenching. The ones that don’t are just devastating. Thank you for sharing your story
