Wow - Watch out expeditionary force
Revisado: 05-23-22
Mr. Hopper captures lightning in the bottle with a fantastic tale as exciting as expeditionary force Columbus Day with remarkable and riveting detail. R.C. Bray does his standard miraculous job of creating a verb motion picture with thrilling energy and dialog.

You will want to wait for the next book
Revisado: 04-28-22
Let me start with I enjoy Mr. Fox's work. I have found his characters engaging and the situation and drama intriguing. However, the Last Ditch felt like a quickly composed novelette to bridge his last book with a future installment. It furthers the story but lacks the depth and development needed to enjoy the storyline fully. I suggest that you wait until this is bundled with Mr. Fox's next addition so as not to be disappointed. Save the credit.

Historia
Arthur's Seat had never sought a galactic role. A relatively new colony world, a mere 300 years old, the planet was always isolated from the galactic mainstream. But with the Empire crumbling after the fall of Earth and other planets taking advantage of the chaos to make their own bids for power, Arthur's Seat suddenly finds itself playing host to tens of thousands of unwanted immigrants, refugees who have been kicked off countless other worlds.

Missed the Mark - Save your money or credit
Revisado: 06-19-17
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
Nuttall is a great story teller and can create compelling characters that make his tells standout.
What could Christopher G. Nuttall have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
It is hard to give Nuttall a bad review because he is one of my favorite authors, but the topic and story-line in this book are simply out of place. Most will struggle to finish this work as it really drones on and on about perceived injustices as view from different cultures. It is reminiscence of the internment of Japanese Americans in the United States during World War II. That however would have been more interesting subject with some redeeming scholastic value... I actually read two other books during the time I was listening to this one because I had to take breaks from it. The story had no twists or surprises that were needed to give it some entertainment value versus the socialistic crap that was tiredly dripped through it.
I would save your money or credit and wait until his next book comes out as I am hopeful it will be better.
What about Jeffrey Kafer’s performance did you like?
Great as always... I am surprised that he read it... No way we could have saved this one.
What character would you cut from Culture Shock?
I would get rid of all of them.

Kafer does a great narration of the books, but....
Revisado: 02-02-17
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
Kafer is outstanding in putting feeling into the books and Christensen is masterful at developing strong characters and an appealing story line. From the 1st to the 3rd book it holds together like a well made sweater with every aspect fluidly working with each other. There is enough mystery to keep you guessing and rooting on who will survive and how the story will turnout. It simply stops with many lose endings. I would like to have had some closure after three books. If this is all without more coming than I am disappointed.
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Complete Exodus Trilogy?
Book 2 was very enjoyable.
Have you listened to any of Jeffrey Kafer’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Kafer always gives great performances. He is one of my favorites and does not disappoint.
If this book were a movie would you go see it?
I think there is a good story line that would make a good movie If it had Acts 4, 5 and 6. It stop short of an ending.

It was good to see Nuttall get back to his great story telling
Revisado: 09-05-16
The book was well rounded and tie seamlessly into the previous story lines without too much repetitiveness. His character development continues with a greater understanding of several surrounding individuals that was reminiscent of his earlier books.
The best of the last four. Enjoy
