I have lost my dad and mom. My pastor is aging. He has had the same impact on me that Wooden had on Kareem. I am also struggling with a mid life crisis. Jesus…this book just came at the RIGHT TIME. I hope I get to tell Kareem one day.

Great story Awful Narration

The narrator did not take the time to learn how to pronounce the NBA names. This is inexcusable with the presence of YouTube. Oftentimes his pronunciation is so awful….I struggle figuring out who he is talking about although he is talking about players that I have followed for twenty years. How did this awful narration float? Great story though!!!

Acuff knows the reason why many writers' novels go unfinished - it's the same reason why gyms are filled in the first week of January and empty by the end of the month and why people stop learning a new language once they get past the easy parts. It's not just that people lose momentum or get distracted. People give up on projects when they fail to live up to their own high expectations and decide that if they can't do something perfectly, they won't do it at all. If you're going to finish, you have to kill perfectionism.

The worst audio book that I ever purchased.

This audio book was so awful. They put this awful music in the background. The research done on the book is shaky. The assumptions and conclusions drawn are speculative at best. I feel so robbed and cheated with this audiobook. I was hoping for some real background and history on Ian Fleming and the Bond Character. I have listened to over 50 audio books over the last two years. This is the worst. The publishing company and the author owe me some money!!!
