Historia
Harry Potter has never even heard of Hogwarts when the letters start dropping on the doormat at number four, Privet Drive. Addressed in green ink on yellowish parchment with a purple seal, they are swiftly confiscated by his grisly aunt and uncle. Then, on Harry's eleventh birthday, a great beetle-eyed giant of a man called Rubeus Hagrid bursts in with some astonishing news: Harry Potter is a wizard, and he has a place at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. An incredible adventure is about to begin!

Excellent Story!
Revisado: 12-14-24
The story is wonderful. I found myself lost in the lives of the characters. The narrator of the first book did an excellent job of voicing Charles' Austrian accent. This narrator made him sound like everyone else, which was a disappointment. She did a nice job of differening the voices, but hearing "his" voice would have been a good continuation of the story.

Historia
In The 100 Thing Challenge, Dave Bruno relates how he remade his life and regained his soul by getting rid of almost everything. But The 100 Thing Challenge is more than just the story of how one man started a movement to unhook himself from consumerism by winnowing his life's possessions down to 100 things in one year. It's also an inspiring, invigorating guide to how we all can begin to live simpler, more meaningful lives.

Interesting Idea/Foul Language Ruined It
Revisado: 10-17-24
The idea is interesting and the narration well done. For someone who presents themselves as a Christian, there was an unpleasant amount of foul language. That turned me off completely. The language took away from what could have been a helpful book.
