The story was good. Transition to a new reader seamless. The only bit of disconnect was this story took place in the time before the 2022 Christmas release of The Good Shepherd. Still, it filled in some of the questions the novella had left in my thoughts. Highly recommend!

In this installment of the Hunt For Jack Reacher we are reunited with some favorite characters. Samantha Vaughn and Jake Reacher join up with Special Agent Kim Otto to search for answers to David Vaughn's sudden death. When Otto gets involved, the probability of two other open FBI cases overlapping sends the trio across the country tracking clues. Carlos Gaspar returns "off the books" to assist Otto in her quest for answers, We learn a bit more about Cooper and the questionable wheeling and dealing he is involved with. Throw in a band of mercenaries and a return to Despair and you will get roped into their adventure.

Thank you for the audible version of Book #15 AND keeping Donna Postel as the narrator. Winning combination and enjoyed the segway to Buck's departure and KC joining the family. I see lots of adventures ahead and can't wait for the next audible versions of both series to be released.

Excellent Audiobook for people in Dog Sports
