Historia
The dense Michigan forest. Haunting wails. The clip-clop of demon hooves on a bridge to nowhere. It’s more than a tall tale to Brenda Jennings, whose sister disappeared in those woods one fateful night. Three years later, on a solo stakeout in the dark, Brenda goes in after her. She’s desperate for answers, and terrified to find what lies waiting on the other side of that bridge.

Good narration; loooooong story
Revisado: 12-19-23
Starts off well but gets bogged down by endless musings on the nature of amateur iPhone filmmaking. I wish I was kidding. Another reviewer compared it to creepypasta and I can't disagree. The narrator was good and she does a very unnerving voice it the back end of the story that sent chills up my spine. However I did have to check the print version of the story to figure out what she was saying.

Historia
In each episode, Patrick Hamilton and Gena Radcliffe unpack all the gory details of horror cinema's least discussed topic: the characters. From Friday the 13th to the Evil Dead franchise and beyond, our mission is to detail each hack, slash, and decapitation in the hopes that a victim's untimely end is just the beginning of the jokes we can make about them.

Can you marry a podcast?
Revisado: 11-07-21
Kill By Kill is funny, insightful, heartfelt and - most importantly - done with love and the appropriate amount of reverence for the subject matter. Patrick and Gena know and love horror (if not every specific movie) and bring on guests who are just as fun, smart and attractive. If I could marry a podcast, I would marry this one. Unfortunately, I cannot, so I will continue living in sin with Kill By Kill.

Great books; weird narration choices
Revisado: 08-20-17
With the exception of the final book, the Ramona series is a group of instant classics. The narration by Stockard Channing is well done, however when she slips into "character voices" the narration almost comes undone. Channing's idea of a child's voice seems to be a slightly drunk in elderly person. Her very young kid voices are almost incomprehensible while Beezus's voice remains muddy and slurred throughout. Her adults don't fare much better as many of the teacher voices are shrill and bizarre sounding. Still her narration is more than competent and about 80% pleasant.
