I have listened to the whole Royal Spyness series and I do believe this was one of the best. I spent an entire rainy Friday listening to it and can't wait till the next one which will either be the engagement and wedding planning of the wedding itself. Thank you for the wonderful listening. Historia
It's Christmastime in 1905 New York City, and for once Molly Murphy Sullivan is looking forward to the approaching holidays. She has a family of her own now: She and Daniel have a baby son, and 12-year-old Bridie is living with them as their ward. As Molly and the children listen to carolers in the street, they hear a lovely voice, the voice of an angel, and see a beggar girl huddled in a doorway, singing "Away in a Manger". Bridie is touched by the girl's ragged clothes and wants to help her out if they can.

Not the best
Revisado: 06-04-16
Having read all the books in the series I found that this one was not one of the best written. The trip from Greenwich Village to her destination on Long Island was a bit of a stretch in a driving snow storm as it still is today. Coming from New York and having made that trip both by car railway it's not an easy trip Eleanor, Fayetteville NC.

Historia
Molly Murphy - now Molly Sullivan - is a year into her marriage, expecting her first child, and confined to the life of a housewife. She’s restless and irritable in the enforced idleness of pregnancy and the heat of a New York summer in 1905. So when a trip to the post office brings a letter addressed to her old detective agency asking her to locate a missing Irish serving maid, Molly figures it couldn’t hurt to at least ask around, despite her promise to Daniel to give up her old career as a detective. On the same day, Molly learns that five babies have been kidnapped in the past month.

As with all the other Molly Murphy books this has many twists and turns and surprised behind every door. Love this series and the reader. If she's behind all the characters voices she deserves a lot of credit. Thank you Nicola Barber for the fantastic listening enjoyment. Eleanor Coody

I bet if we went to Dublin today we would find all the same cobblestones lining the streets just like they are in New York but more so. I thought this was well done and I had a hard time figuring out WHODUNNIT. Great story. Eleanor

Historia
In turn-of-the-century New York City, Irish immigrant Molly Murphy is contemplating giving up PI work for something a little less complicated, less exciting. Molly has had quite enough excitement recently, thank you very much. Especially from the handsome but deceptive NYPD captain Daniel Sullivan, whom she'd like to avoid completely. But when Daniel is accused of accepting bribes and lands himself in the Tombs, the notorious city jail, he begs Molly to help prove he was framed, and after everything they've been through, she cannot turn him down.

I must listen continuously until it's finished. If I fall asleep I click back till I hear something that sounds familiar and then continue on. The reader does a great job with the accents. Try one and you'll be hooked but start it from book one so it makes sense. Eleanor

Their assassins then deliver a shocking ultimatum to the American government: set aside partisan politics and restore power to the people. Page turner
Revisado: 05-17-16
I have always enjoyed Vince Flynn's books and this was no exception. It was good to see Scott Coleman, Thomas Stansfield and Irene Kennedy in this moving story about what really happens in Washington and having worked for the federal government both in DC and Fort Bragg and four years in an overseas assignment I can relate to the mishandling of funds and how much is wasted on unnecessary equipment and reams of paper especially at the end of the fiscal year when it became use it or lose it and so everyone with buying authority starts buying new chairs, new furniture in general and upgraded computers that were only a year old fot the commanders secretary and anyone else on the nice list because if you were naughty you got hand me downs or nothing. But I enjoyed my jobs and wouldn't change that experience for a sac of gold Thank you Vince Flynn.
