Not the original! Still worth the read as 2nd though.

This is considerably different than the original book, but I missed the story so much I was glad to read it! Normally I'd give it 5*'s but despite it's quality, it was easily a full notch below Heinleins' other book. Maybe this was a draft, I don't know. I'll have to read the cover again. Good luck trooper!

... however, it still loses out to CB radio chatter even if it's one of those days full of lulls in the conversation and just random static where all you hear is the rare Tarzan yell or RC beep but nothing else comes through. Damn I miss cb rádio. I'm going to keep on listening in the vain hope it gets any better. Stand by for my reviews so you don't have to suffer through any crappy episodes. </i> "we live to serve"

This book loses whatever it is that makes us keep turning pages in the series. It gets better about 3/4th's down but isn't the same. I'm still going to try the next one but if it doesn't get better, well, the series had a good run. They can hardly last forever, can they?

Great book, amazing naraation!

The book is good, the kind that glues you to the next page. However, it's not that this book is that great, it's just clearly leading to a great story and you keep reading to get there.
As for the narration, wow, Frank Muller could be reading instructions on how to bake a cake and you would sit there enthralled! He is amazing!
