Once a scrap-wrangling nobody from Phoenix, Arizona, Juliet Bianchi's life was forever changed when fate handed her a hyper-advanced AI chip that launched her into the arena of high-powered, high-stakes operators. To her surprise—and everyone else's—she had a natural talent for cybernetic-enhanced mayhem and mercenary work. Now, that work will take Juliet where she's always wanted to go: off world. Unfortunately, the reason is that her faithful friend Honey and a child prodigy she was caring for have been kidnapped.

Excellent series
Revisado: 04-11-24
This series is one of my favorites. It is refreshing and different from the the other sci-fi and litrpg series released in the last 10-15 years. No one has been able to pick up the shadowrun genre until this series came along. Author is excellent and so is the narrator. Keep it up please.

Historia
Land-ho! Clyde and co. have finally—finally—made it to the City of Darkness. Which turns out to actually exist! One small problem though. Anyone and anything that sets foot on the island immediately disappears. Ceases to exist. Poof. To complete the quest, Clyde needs to figure out how to actually enter the city and steal the crown jewels . . . without getting stuck in the town forever. It's a foreboding, dark place (obviously), where corruption is rampant. And maybe worse: the game rules Clyde's gotten so good at bending to his will? They don't seem to apply.

MC abilities are invincible
Revisado: 02-26-24
The main character can get slammed against a wall by a much higher leveled enemy leader and it states his bones are broken and then we casually walks over to other higher leveled enemies and easily defeats them with no healing and only using his regular dagger which typically does 1-4 damage in a rpg. He also gets run through with swords and casually ignores that and forgives the person. Way too many things like that that make the stories hard to respect or follow. MC is basically a god when he chooses killing the realism of the actual story.

Jar jar binx type story
Revisado: 02-23-24
This story change is like when the Star Wars saga decided things like jar jar binx were needed in its story. The new god is the god of sewers. Knox who brings no value to the story is the last member of his original team. No other character on his new team has any benefit nor can contribute to helping resolve issues. The MC has not clue what blushing means. I liked the original story arc and it was driven off a cliff in the worst way. The author can write fairly well, but whatever he was trying here was one of the worst story changes I have ever seen. He really needs to learn that bring other team members into a story expands the depth of the story as a whole. The narrator was good.

Book 9 was great, this one terrible
Revisado: 08-06-23
I have loved the series, but this book crashed and was 20+ hours of wasted time. Not sure if the author forgot what made the previous books so good, but this was all about feelings and how the MC is so amazing, but just walks around and does nothing the entire book. Good narration by Pavi is the only positive

The hero is untouchable
Revisado: 06-15-20
I liked the main plot line for the story, but the hero has made 300 levels and only been hit 3 or 4 times. The enemies in the story can never do any damage to the good guys. I just don’t understand how the author does not see this massive flaw in his stories

Historia
Joe has started to draw attention to himself and his abilities. While some of the attention is good and allows for personal growth, most of it is from various organizations that feel threatened by the sudden upswing of power that Joe's guild - The Wanderers - is attaining. As the threat to Earth begins to reach its peak, all of humanity has a choice: flee to Eternium, or stay for an uncertain future. Some stay, some go, some don't make the choice quickly enough.

The first 2 books were really good, but
Revisado: 11-15-19
I really enjoyed the first 2 books, but the performance by the narrator is so bad it is painful to listen to the actual story. The story has diminished with this book as well. Almost like someone completely different wrote it

Story jumped around too much too often
Revisado: 10-09-18
Really could not get a grasp of the story and characters because the race names and character names were not well defined early on and then every chapter the story jumped to a different character so it was really too hard to follow and took a lot of work to understand the story.

Really struggled to get into the story. The story really never seems to get anywhere fast. It dragged too much and i got quite bored with the story.
