Best researched book I have ever read
Revisado: 08-21-24
The nonfiction story of the needless deaths of an Indian tribe during the early years of the 1920’s is yet another example of history hidden for centuries that exposes the horrendous and ugly truth about this country’s ingrained caste system. During that time in American history atrocities that paralleled the Osage Indians ironically happened south in Tulsa, Oklahoma to the Greenwood section of town. Instead of the brutal killing by white men to take possession of oil wealthy Osage Indians, the slaughter of a black community in which homes were bombed by private planes and wealthy black entrepreneurs were killed for the same reasons; white supremacy. Thank goodness this and in the future more stories of this sort of brutality will expose the hidden truth about our nation and how race played a part in the systematic destruction of people that were entitled to the American dream. Only to find out that the American dream was never intended for them and that the caste system keep them from reaping and passing their wrath on to future generations.

Historia
Most Americans were shocked by the violence they witnessed at the nation's Capital on January 6th, 2021. And many were bewildered by the images displayed by the insurrectionists: a wooden cross and wooden gallows; "Jesus saves" and "Don't Tread on Me;" Christian flags and Confederate Flags; even a prayer in Jesus's name after storming the Senate chamber. Where some saw a confusing jumble, Philip S. Gorski and Samuel L. Perry saw a familiar ideology: white Christian nationalism.

Well done!
Revisado: 12-01-23
This book breaks down the connection between MAGA and Christian Nationalism. A must read for those interested in understanding the complexities of our political dynamics today. Not only does this book explain the why but also makes suggestions about how we as a nation can defeat both the MAGA ideology and Christian Nationalism. Well done! I am so happy I purchased this book.

The end is very well done

I loved reading every bit about the Trump family. Getting a glimpse into the way Fred Trump Sr. Treated his children has vastly improved my understanding of the man that Donald Trump has become. I wish that it was written 5 years ago.

Must read! Not kidding! You must listen to this audiobook!
Revisado: 01-10-18
The insanity of the Trump White House is dramatically unfolded. Imagine a Fortune 500 company run by people with no business experience and headed by a CEO that not only has no experience but hates to read. To further complicate things, the CEO outsources major decisions involving the future of the company to people that have no interest in making a profit but appealing only to a handful of wealthy customers. This is the Trump White House in a nutshell. So inept and undisciplined is Trump that he doesn’t know he is way over his head as president. Can’t make this stuff up!
