Historia
Very few careers can offer you the freedom, flexibility, and income that day trading does. As a day trader, you can live and work anywhere in the world. You can decide when to work and when not to work. You only answer to yourself. That is the life of the successful day trader. Many people aspire to it, but very few succeed. In the audiobook, I describe the fundamentals of day trading, explain how day trading is different from other styles of trading and investment, and elaborate on important trading strategies that many traders use every day.

This is an old version of the book. Audible shouldn’t be selling when there is an update…. References don’t match the printed material.

Time travel stories always interest me
Revisado: 03-10-24
Good storyline. My first Koontz read in many years. Sometimes time travel stories break their own rules and I thought this one would too.

Historia
Charlie Reade looks like a regular high school kid, great at baseball and football, a decent student. But he carries a heavy load. His mom was killed in a horrific accident when he was seven, and grief drove his dad to drink. Charlie learned how to take care of himself—and his dad. When Charlie is seventeen, he meets a dog named Radar and her aging master, Howard Bowditch, a recluse in a big house at the top of a big hill, with a locked shed in the backyard. Sometimes strange sounds emerge from that shed.

Two stories…. One Amazing and the other meh….
Revisado: 11-23-23
The book is split in two separated by a specific event or more accurately, a journey. The first half centers on a teenager, an old recluse and an aged dog. The characters are interesting and the story is engaging. Then the younger of the men goes on a journey to another place. The story, the characters and everything I loved was over and a new story was told. This one I did not like or care about.
If I was to read this book again, I would stop just before the journey and be left with wonder and my own imagination about what went on, on the other side….

Historia
Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.

Not even close to the same as the Martian or Hail Mary. I was completely uninterested in the story throughout. Disappointing.

Historia
From the duo behind the massively successful and award-winning podcast Stuff You Should Know comes an unexpected look at things you thought you knew. Josh Clark and Chuck Bryant started the podcast Stuff You Should Know back in 2008 because they were curious - curious about the world around them, curious about what they might have missed in their formal educations, and curious to dig deeper on stuff they thought they understood.

Stick with the Podcast.

Josh and Chuck really lose something ‘reading’ rather that just letting the talk flow freely as it does in the podcast. Awkward listen.

Historia
Traumatized by the bombing of Dresden at the time he had been imprisoned, Pilgrim drifts through all events and history, sometimes deeply implicated, sometimes a witness. He is surrounded by Vonnegut's usual large cast of continuing characters (notably here the hack science fiction writer Kilgore Trout and the alien Tralfamadorians, who oversee his life and remind him constantly that there is no causation, no order, no motive to existence).

Read this when I was a Teenager
Revisado: 06-28-23
Nearly 40 years later I decided to “read” it again. So glad I did. What an interesting way to tell a story. I love time travel stories and kept seeing this one on lists to read. It isn’t really a traditional time travel story, but I still enjoyed it.
I’ll probably read it again and again…. My name is Jon Johnson…….

Historia
Aiden Anderson got off to a tough start in life. He had a small family to begin with, and they were all gone by the time he turned 16. He did his best to shake off his grief and go on to a successful life as a musician. He was talented, but just missed the big time. When Aiden dies in a car crash, he couldn't be more surprised to open his eyes in his grandmother's kitchen in 1961. He has a second chance at everything: family, friends, and fame. Even in Middle Falls, second chances don't always turn out right.
