Historia
Felix had risked everything to stop the threat of the Unending Maw. Except instead of death, he and his Companion Pit were transported to the deadly Void, a place far worse than the Foglands. The Maw is there with them, bonded somehow to Felix in a way none of them understand, but all of them hate. The three must navigate the desolate expanse of the dark Void, contending with voidbeasts, marauders, and the creeping influence of the Maw itself. It will take everything that Felix has—and more—merely to survive, let alone escape. All choices have consequences.

Historia
I didn't want to be worshiped like some deity—an instant replacement for the asuras. For so long, these people looked up to the asuras as gods, but the asuras kept trying to kill them. Arthur Leywin has finally returned to the continent of Dicathen, but his home is still firmly in the hands of the enemy. His display of unprecedented power brings hope to his allies and fear to his enemies. It also deeply embroils him in a conflict between the godlike asuras, with Agrona Vritra on one side and Kezess Indrath on the other.

Dual narrators was a terrible choice
Revisado: 02-14-24
dual narrators narrators was a terrible choice, especially if your 10 books in to a series that has only had one up till that point.
the new narrator is super Distracting, and she pulled me out of the story whenever she popped up.
the voice Decisions that she made for Certain characters Was absolutely Baffling.
there is a female character who speaks Mostly in Third person, and until now she was given a childish voice, but the new narrator gives her a Generically normal sounding voice.
the old narrator is still giving the character the same voice as alway makeing it a confusing and Immersion breaking listen!
this series need to go back to only using one narrator!

not the original stories
Revisado: 05-07-23
the stories have been rewritten to make them seem more modern.
the second episode directly mentions Yelp reviews, Uber drivers, and wifi
i don't think i need to mention this, but Yelp, Uber, and Wi-Fi didn't exist in the 1950
the story that mentioned Uber and wifi is about people traveling by train. No, in the us travels by train anymore, and the train allows smoking.
smoking indoors has basically been illegal since the early 2000s
so by trying to modernize the story, they managed to shater my suspension of disbelief

the political soap box rants really ramp up, and it's insufferable.
there is an entire chapter that is just a rant about how much the author hates America.

false description
Revisado: 04-16-23
the description says perfect for fans of Put Russian fantasy, It proceeds to list a bunch of books that are in the vein of that are Progression fantasy.
this This would imply a reasonable consumer that this book is, in fact, progression fantasy, but it's not.
there are, in fact, no Progression fantasy elements within this story whatsoever.
The story itself isn't bad it's fine, but the Blatant false advertising leaves an Undeniably bad taste into the consumer's mouth.

Historia
Morgan Mallory is a typical college girl, immersing herself in her studies and her various hobbies—and overcoming her deep psychological traumas by indulging in careful manipulations and socially acceptable cruelties. So when she wakes up to discover she’s been transported to a new world that’s oddly reminiscent of a certain childhood fantasy story, she does what any completely sane and totally altruistic heroine would do: set out to kill the queen who brought her there.

not much of a time loop
Revisado: 01-01-23
it really doesn't feel like much of a time loop due to the fact that the loop amost never repeats itself through the course of the book.
instead it opens with the main character having already having spent years in the loop.
instead the book is more about beating levels, and i can only really recall maybe one or two times that a time loop is actually triggered.
the book reads more like the final book in a Trilogy than the first book of a story
it feels like the author wanted to capitalize on the curent popularity of time loops that was jump started by mother of learning without having to actually write a any time travel into the story, and by the end of the first book he gets free from the loop.
this means that the series isn't going to have anything even remotely time loop related as part of its story structure moving forward.
if you are thinking about geting this book because your looking for a time loop stoy then you should skip it, and read something else instead.
other than the fact that the stories entire premise was basicly a lie it was a perfectly fine story.

Historia
For generations, nobles have gathered at a scenic estate once per year to compete. What transpires there is spoken of only in rumors, save for the prizes. Potent, powerful, and precious; the winners are said to receive a gift from magic itself. Reeling after their loss to Kalzidar, the adventurers from Maplebark can only press forward, following advice imparted by the gods. Their divine directions will lead them on a series of twisting paths, branching between old friends and new challenges, before ultimately pointing at a particular estate on a specific evening.

confusing
Revisado: 09-24-22
I only read the audiobook so I don't know if this applies to the print version as well but it is extremely confusing when it shifts to another character's perspective.
it feels random as there's no indication that it's about to happen, and it will happen in the middle of chapters without warning so so it takes way longer than it should for your brain to register that you're now following a completely different character.
also this book creates a massive plot hole.
this book reveals that paladins are completely immune to poison and Venom but this entire book series started because a Paladin and his party accidentally kill themselves by unintentionally poisoning themselves

Revisado: 08-19-22
the narrator is absolutely terrible, he dose this bad fake British accent that sounds like the kinda accent someone would do as a joke.
also he is constantly mispronouncing words like even the most basic of words.
I've actually lost count of how many words he mispronounces he does it that frequently

slow narrator
Revisado: 06-18-22
the only real issue is how slow the narrator was.
she reads 30% slower than most other narrators.
i had to crank the listening speed up to 1.3x to make it sound like story was at normal speeds instead of being read in slow motion.
that being said this was much better thant the last book.
if there aren't going to be any more stories about penny then out of the protagonists from the last two books Avery is a much more interesting character to follow in comparison to Magenta
