Fun and way too short. I wish there were more!

I laughed and cried as I heard these stories. I wish it were longer and that there was more content!

Historia

So funny and incredibly relevant
Revisado: 05-29-19
These segments are so we'll made, the sound effects and use of rancheras and other music that we all grew up with. Additionally, their use of cultural references that allow the listener to connect the relationships between themes is quite engaging. The conversations are funny, informative, relevant and showcase the beautiful richness and eloqunecy of Mexican millennials and their ties to culture in the US and reminds us too that we're not that different from each other. I highly recommend it

Historia
How does trauma affect a child's mind—and how can that mind recover? In the classic The Boy Who Was Raised as a Dog, Dr. Perry explains what happens to the brains of children exposed to extreme stress and shares their lessons of courage, humanity, and hope. Only when we understand the science of the mind and the power of love and nurturing can we hope to heal the spirit of even the most wounded child.

a must read for anyone working with children
Revisado: 05-02-19
This book was tremendously impactful I the way I go about my work. everyone who works with children and families should read it. The narrator was engaging and the book offered a sense of fluidity that I thouroughly enjoyed. From start to finish the author brings his points full circle.
