Historia
Deep below the University, there is a dark place. Few people know of it: a broken web of ancient passageways and abandoned rooms. A young woman lives there, tucked among the sprawling tunnels of the Underthing, snug in the heart of this forgotten place. Her name is Auri, and she is full of mysteries. The Slow Regard of Silent Things is a brief, bittersweet glimpse of Auri’s life, a small adventure all her own. At once joyous and haunting, this story offers a chance to see the world through Auri’s eyes.

Listen closely to the forward by the author. He tells you exactly what this story is and is not. And thank you Mr. Rothfuss for writing a window story that breaks all the rules. Reading this story is like looking through the window of a person's life.

Historia
Budo is lucky as imaginary friends go. He's been alive for more than five years, which is positively ancient in the world of imaginary friends. But Budo feels his age, and thinks constantly of the day when eight-year-old Max Delaney will stop believing in him. When that happens, Budo will disappear. Max is different from other children. Some people say that he has Asperger's Syndrome, but most just say he's "on the spectrum." None of this matters to Budo, who loves Max and is charged with protecting him from the class bully.

A Childlike Approach to an Adult Book
Revisado: 11-13-12
I picked this book as I have an interest in Asperger's Syndrome and I used to be a teacher, so I was drawn to the idea of the book. One of the things I really enjoyed about this book was the point of view through the eyes of the imaginary friend. However, his perspective is rather childlike and it often seems as if the book was written for children. On the other hand, the primary theme of this book is accepting death and our inevitable mortality. The exploration of this subject makes this a very adult themed book. It was uncomfortable to me to have this childlike perspective and deep themes of death enmeshed together. Perhaps this was the author's intent. Overall, I really enjoyed the book and found it very thought provoking.

Historia
In Amber Magic, the humans have no magic and are hunted for sport, but that is about to change. War is coming. The Sun Dragon spawned nine lesser dragons which devoured their parent for the power the elder possessed. These young dragons fought for choice bits of the Sun Dragon, but each only managed to eat a portion, thus giving them specific powers. Over time, these foul dragons were hunted down and slain by heroes of old. When each body rotted away, nothing remained save for nine Jewels--each the lens of a dragon's left eye.

An Interesting Twist on the Fey
Revisado: 11-13-12
I really enjoyed the Haven Series. The author painted a vivid description of a quaint village nestled on the Berrywine river. His depiction of the inhabitants of this village spurred my imagination and drew me into the story. His portrayal of the fey drove home the point of their inhumaness in the clashes between the human and fey ethical beliefs and actions. I both loved and loathed aspects of the characters both human and fey, making them more real to me. The reason why I didn't give it five stars is the audio production was poor in that the whispering/whispery voices were difficult to hear. If you adjust the volume for the whispering, then the booming voices are too loud. It was rather annoying to keep adjusting the volume while driving in the car. Overall, this was definitely a solidly enjoyable story.

Historia
Ever since he was small, John Robison had longed to connect with other people, but by the time he was a teenager, his odd habits, an inclination to blurt out non sequiturs, avoid eye contact, dismantle radios, and dig five-foot holes, had earned him the label "social deviant". No guidance came from his mother or his father. It was no wonder he gravitated to machines, which could, at least, be counted on.

Revisado: 05-10-12
John Elder Robison has not only told a story of his life, but has also provide a work of inspiration. The human will to survive and prosper was clearly represented in this tale of hardship, hilarity, rejection, and acceptance. This book is a must read.

Revisado: 05-10-12
This was a good story. My opinion from the last book of dragons being a little scatter brained has been put aside. The intrigue, plotting, and politicking of the various clans kept me wanting to read more. The Performance in this book is out standing. I honestly believe David Drummond is a key factor in making these audio books a success.

Scatter brained dragons, cause for scattered story
Revisado: 05-10-12
Although this book is a good listen, when I compare it to the previous books I am left with a little disappointment. Weather the author intended it or not, the characters came across to me as a little scatter brained or ditsy. My initial view of dragons was one of a being that is very intelligent, and driven by instinct. To me this book portrays them as that and as beings that cant make up their mind on what side to take.
The story a good one, I feel that it just needs better character development at this stage.

Perfect story on why you should not judge unless you have walked a mile in the same shoes. This is my favorite book of the series. As always the narration is great. The story pulled me in and made me cheer for every win the Copper achieved.

I was excited to continue the story. I was even more excited to when I heard the story from a different perspective. E. E. Knight does a great job or telling the same story but keeping his readers in tune by changing the perspective. As always the narration by David Drummond was excellent.
A great read to see how vengeance is best served with choice organ meats that have been slow roasted with dragon fire.

Is there anything you would change about this book?
I enjoyed the story and felt the characters brought out love, hate, and all the shades of gray in between. I was looking forward to this book answering some of the questions that have been growing throughout the series. This book did not do that for me. I finished the book with a let down feeling. I enjoyed the narration of the book as I did with all the books in this series.
What does David Drummond bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
David is very skilled at portraying each of the characters. I had no issues telling them apart and was amazed at the different accents and inflections that each character has.
Could you see Dragon Fate being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?
No movie potential.
