Unexpected "page turner"

I don't typical write a narrative with my reviews but I had to call out this gem. This is my first time reading /listening to this author and I'm throughly enjoying this series. More so this book is not the typically variety. It brings awareness to mental health and more specifically OCD in a very respectful, supportive, and thrilling way. It brings so much emotion into the story that I've listened to this book a few times back to back and look forward to reading the rest of the serious and other books by this author. Excellent choice,, it's a definite must read.

Narrators subtract from Awesome story

JA Huss is awesome as usual but Joe's breathy narratiin and Victoria combination didn't do the story justice.

OMG, I'm hooked for life!!!

I'm nrw to KC Cross and I thoroughly enjoyed the earlier books in the series but thus turned me into a fan girl and I'm hooked fir life. Can't wait to listen to the rest of the series. New mission find everything KC has written and devour it.

I've enjoyed this series up til this book. The writing style and performance is good as always but the storyline was aggregating. IMHO this storyline contributes to rape culture thus distrubed me everytime the woman's wishes were ignored.

slow start but more then worth sticking with it

first 2 chapters were rough to get through. it felt more like the start of a new series with a different narrator. to my surprise it was the same after I had to stop and check before continuing on But like the previous books in the series it didn't disappoint. this is series is very different than the same ol same old tge genre usually produces. I will gladly follow this author and look forward to finding all her other works.

Mad the entire time

you know you are captured by a story when it evokes such emotion from start to finished. with that being said I was pissed off with one or the other the entire book. this isn't a lovey dovey romance. They struggled to get to their HEA. Sigh....

Stand alone. Not a continuation of the series

This is book 17 but there was so much character development it read like the first book in a series. long and drawn out. I loved this series but this is not a continuation and more of a stand alone. Not what I expected

Poor performance takes away from story

Female narrator provides a continuous breathy voice that cheapens the entire story. I almost couldn't finish listening to the book. My advice is skip the audio and read it for yourself and maybe to story line will seem better. Unfortunate because the rest of the books in this series are fire. This seems to be just a fluff piece.

paid full price for a novella

I'm rather disappointed that you stuck a novella on the end of the first book and it appears as next in the series after Devotion. so in order to get the novella you have to pay for the first book again. needs better series organization. but other than that the books are awesome as always. loving this series.
