These Russian storys are good but mostly the same.

It seems that these Russian stories all have a boatload of corruption, a aristocrat/commoner trope which could get tiresome. However the MC seems to be really OP and sticks it to the gangsters and grifters while remaining charismatic and an overall good character.
I like that, and as for this series, it is the only necromancer character that isn't a villain bent on death, destruction and mayhem, rather he is upstanding and righteous.

The new narator

Ok, at first I was bummed that Travis Baldree wouldn't be narrating this story any longer. I understand that we all have hopes, dreams, and goals, I applaud mister Baldree and wish him much success.
Now his understudy has taken the reins, John Pirhalla did a wonderful job sans mister Baldree's unique voice. I just realized that this book may be the first of the genre for him, I have only heard one other title he has done and I liked it.
This second installment of the story is interesting, however J.R. Mathews may have reached too high for book#2... looking forward to book#3 to see if I'm right or not

at first (Book 0ne) this story is pretty good but toward the end then into the second book the authors insecurities show up big time. OK let me explain... the MC attracts all these people around him... and they are all women... and they all have large breasts which the MC cant stop talking about... he just cant seem to get a male to join his party... even the dragon he summons is a female.
Ok then the part that really pushed it over for me, his best friend ends up joining him and is a total 'no-homo bro'.
Yea ok so you have a harem of objectified smokin hot women that he claims as wives (5 so far) and one no-homo bro... OH and MC is so OP that he is a god in less than a month playing.
Definitely a thirteen year old's spank bank... There are more adult oriented LITRPG stories out there... and they are much better and well balanced too.

This is so irresponsible... A preteen little girl who builds explosives... its like giving a five year old a loaded pistol. No respect for the weapon or skill , no maturity at all... she just likes 'explodie things' never thinking of collateral damage. Sorry... This is true life for many... the fear, second guessing, the isolation is so very real. The author has managed to put every trigger into this story... mixed race, religious scorn, the conniving toxic female, the ignorant toxic masculine, and the self doubt.
