highly prescient. Even more relevant today
Revisado: 04-15-18
A good analysis of the current political gridlock. Poses interesting questions about some of the assumptions we take for granted as Americans. One particular line had me laughing/crying "One day one of these crazies (Nader, Trump, etc) was going to win"

This staggering amount of information - unprecedented in history - can tell us a great deal about who we are - the fears, desires, and behaviors that drive us, and the conscious and unconscious decisions we make. From the profound to the mundane, we can gain astonishing knowledge about the human psyche that less than 20 years ago seemed unfathomable.

some jems, some duds, an interesting author
Revisado: 02-11-18
the author does a great job of showing the furthest reaches of what data science can do. he is also very funny. maintain your scepticism for times when the results of his studies explain little.

Historia
When Hu Jintao, China's then vice president, came to visit the New York Stock Exchange and Ground Zero in 2002, he asked Hank Paulson to be his guide. It was a testament to the pivotal role that Goldman Sachs played in helping China experiment with private enterprise. In Dealing with China, the best-selling author of On the Brink draws on his unprecedented access to both the political and business leaders of modern China to answer several key questions.
