The story & inclusion in character types is perfection

The story reached into my heart and healed a part of me. It’s hard to find a book that has everything this does, from the vast array of character types to the realistic feelings and thoughts each have. This is a story of found family, survival & honest healing of traumas, and depth that makes the reader consider topics outside of the book. The performance is well done and lends to the world and character building.

Mystery to solve and a real romance story

The second book in the series was as good as the first. Upon finishing the book I instantly went to see if book three was out. This is not a perfect romance, more character development and real world choices that you could see a real person making. The emotions and settings easily come to the listener/reader due to the performance and writing style, making it hard to put down.

I couldn’t finish it

This book has a narrator who does well at keeping you in the story 85% of the time, but seems like even she was getting bored of the experience the story was putting us through. The twists were predictable and slow coming so you were left wondering how sheltered the fmc was. Would return if I could.

It’s one of those books that you hate when it ends.

Char’s quirkiness continues along with all the hot men and suspenseful main story. I wish there was more progress with the main story but am perfectly happy laughing and sweating with the characters interactions.

Good for book one

This is a good first book. It gets you interested in the characters and the storyline without making things unrealistically dramatic. There were some slow points but the possibilities that are opened with them back since at the end.

This book goes back and answers questions long time reader have had but is written in a way that new readers can understand and enjoy. The story is wonderful and the performance is fantastic.

Perfect book to listen to when you need a new reality

Love the story even with its love triangle. I’m so glad spider got to spot light in this book doing what cats do. Jumping straight into book number three.

I tired to like it but no

The storyline is predictable and slow moving at first but the fourth book is what honestly killed it for me. The main character is always whiny always unable to solve her own problems and never thinks through any of her actions until she is in a mess. It’s almost as if she loses any ability to do intellectual thinking. Yes the book is about teenage characters dealing with major events but the books just get worse as they go.
