Over Too Soon

Great saga, great performance. While there are certainly terrific "spin offs" this book reminds me that this particular saga is coming to an all too soon conclusion.
The AAR will gut punch you so don't listen to it in a public place.
We are forever in the debt of those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for so many who are so undeserving.

Better The Second Time

I "read" this when first released and loved it. I decided to listen to it again when Nick Cole teased out a hint that a book 3 may be around the corner.
While I enjoyed the book the first time immensely, the second listen, I discovered a richer, deeper and more poignant story. I saw not only the similarities (not just writing style) but the connections with the GE series. An, "I should have had a V-8" moment. This series is vastly underrated.
Christopher Ryan Grant is absolutely brilliant in his performance and I have set him permanently in the pantheon of my favorite audiobook performers.
I can't reccomended this book enough.
Fantastic, terrific, and awesome.

Good Opening Series

I Read the Expansion Series first and loved it and didn't know about the Series starter. Aside from the timeline issue of not knowing about the cube talking in book one of the New Frontiers it was a great end to the series that explains the background for the books that introduced me to this saga.

Satisfying

While I had no doubt this would be a quality story (Hello, it's Anspach & Cole) I was initially skeptical on how much I would enjoy this new voice talent because of how he mispronounced the last name Aguilar when I listen to the preview. Alas, I was able to look past that "sin" because he did such a fabulous job with everything else.
Overall, this story was outstanding and had an ending that just made sense. Jason & Nick did it again.

I was looking forward to this spin-off, having imagined what could be. The story went in an entirely different direction and exceeded my expectations. Great development of Thor, fantastic new characters who had their own creative arcs.
Looking forward to Thor 2.
-also waiting anxiously for Anspach and Cole to stop sipping piña coladas on their private island beaches and write more Stange Company.

Much better character development and storyline. It's good to see Kaz grow beyond giving "I'm new to this" and start being someone deserving of the team following and protecting. And that voice talent guy is "ok" 🤪
Bray the OK has a nice ring to it.
But seriously, just another example of why R.C. is considered one of the best in the voice talent business.
