Historia
You are God's supernatural solution for a world beset with giant problems. Pastor Kerrick Butler II encourages us that the problems we face in the world today must be addressed by a church that understands that we are not merely mortal, but supernaturally empowered by the Holy Spirit to conquer the Goliaths of our day. In No Longer Mere Mortals, Kerrick shares how to operate in God's power as a lifestyle and be empowered as a superhuman - not just as an apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor, or teacher. You may not wear a cape, but God made you superhuman just the same!

The Spiritual Knowledge is Outstanding
Revisado: 06-28-23
I loved the spiritual knowledge of Kerrick Butler and his comparisons to super heros to show us our/ believers' supernatural strength in God and Jesus. Christians shouldn't hide from the world, nor act like they're of the world with cursing, drinking, and inappropriate attire. We're called to do a kob and must get about our Father's work.
I did note a lot of swallowing sounds through the book by the orator. I've not heard that before in books I've listened to. Thankful it wasn't so annoying that the lesson was missed. Great book!

Excellent And perfect investigation
Revisado: 01-06-23
I absolutely Loved this book! Great research and investigation. It proves and puts in writing what so many of us know and believe! It's all a setup and those in power are afraid of becoming the minority and losing it. Guess What? There's no stopping that train and evil won't win in the long run. People need to stop falling for the bureaucratic Bull...

Loved the insight.i to their story
Revisado: 10-10-22
I think she and Mr. Obama are beautiful spirited people and I loved the insight into their journey. Well written and told. For it just got a bit unnecessarily long-winded. Like the same statement or story told/explained just I'm a different way in after chapter.
Descriptions should be there but seemed excessive to me. I'm thankful they hung in there and are a gleaming example for many.

Historia
For two centuries, the deep-seated fear that many White people feel—of losing power, of losing economic standing, of losing a particular “way of life”—has been the driving force behind American politics and culture. And as we approach a future where White people will become a racial minority in the US, something estimated to occur as early as 2043, that fear is only intensifying, festering, and becoming more visible. Are we destined for a violent clash? What can we do to step into our country’s inevitable future, without tearing ourselves apart in the process?

Love the show, BUT
Revisado: 09-09-22
Love the Ladies sharing their viewpoints about current social topics. However, honestly, what could humanly be done immediately when Will slapped Cfris? This is a Major TV Production. People were shocked 😲. And with a corporation like the Oscar's there's no 1 person making a decision in a few minutes of something that significant happening. They do meetings with legal, etc. Now, once they did that, YES, they should have kept that award along with the removing him from that guild. It was a shame and low point for our beloved 😔 stars. Thanks guys, Blessings!

A book about a mixed-race family's experience
Revisado: 07-20-22
I can't help but wonder if this story had been been a bestseller if the author wasn't already well-known in journalism and music. It's certainly not a unique story of experiences. In addition, it had a lot of word repetition, even in the same paragraph. However, I did enjoy the book!

Historia
Lina Meisel, a retired librarian in Florida, is reading the newspaper one morning when she freezes. Her eyes lock on a photograph of a book she hasn’t seen in 65 years - a book she recognizes as The Book of Lost Names. The accompanying article discusses the looting of libraries by the Nazis across Europe during World War II - an experience Lina remembers well - and the search to reunite people with the texts stolen from them so long ago. The book in the photograph is one of the most fascinating cases.

I don’t believe in objectifying men. I don’t catcall men. I don’t ogle the bodies of men. I don’t view men as objects of my affection rather than complex people with feelings, wants, and needs of their own. I don’t treat men the way society often treats women. I treat men the way I want to be treated as a woman - with respect! So, when Carlos ran into me while I was reviewing my interview questions in the park, it surprised me to see my photography classmate out of class. I was also surprised to see as much of him as I did.

Nice Story
Revisado: 05-26-22
Good overall story. Though it got a bit explicit sex wise and repetitive with several sentences in varied chapters, it was a sood story overall. I didn't care fir the female voice doing all the male characters. But, the story was good overall.

insightful
Revisado: 05-09-22
I truly enjoyed this book. It was very insightful as to the Republican party and the changes over the years. I like how he characterized them as the crazies. Because, they are crazy! They're more into popularity then doing the right job honestly. I used to be Republican and my goal is to vote for the right person for the job.
