He’s finally starting to figure it out

Listening to the evolution portion of the book was hard. I began to question whether I should continue to consume what appeared to be an otherwise stellar book. I wondered how someone who is so inquisitive couldn’t see God right in front of him. By the last chapter it became obvious that he sees Him but hasn’t come to terms with who he is. It’s my hope that the next book is an exploration of the God sized hole that exists in man’s heart and all the ways we try to fill it with other things.

Get your heart ready first

When I had a friend recommended this I thought it would be mostly about preparing food and such. It was much more about preparing for the spiritual warfare to come and an excellent read on that score. The other stuff was in there too but it’s not a comprehensive reference on preparing for disaster and nor does it need to be. Plenty of books on that subject. It does however give you the biblical basis for doing so.
