It doesn't help that the engagement has gripped the entire town, and as Khash catches the fever, all Lurielle wants to do is elope. At least she can count on her friends to help her . . . at least, she thinks she can.

The world building and story is so good it genuinely distracts from the smut, which is also excellent.

Each of the characters feels real and fleshed out. Every elf thinks her orc boyfriend hangs the moon and her friends’ boyfriends are annoying and she cannot see the appeal. Each of them are right and also wrong and it’s kind of adorable. It perfectly captures that feeling of lust and love. Each female protagonist is also amazing, fun, and flawed. Absolutely loved it.
