I enjoyed the keen observations of the hare’s behavior. It made me see the value in a species that I have never deemed to really notice.

I have been reading Sala for years. Some of her earlier works show that she was still developing as a writer. This story was written well and solidly plotted. I will absolutely be reading or listening to anything else that she writes in this series.

Pulled me in completely

I know that this is supposed to be a kid’s book but I enjoyed every moment and I am almost 50. The story turned out happy enough at the end that I wasn’t disappointed, but wasn’t trite either. I will be ready to listen to anything else by this author.
