Historia
The world's most famous demonologists, Ed and Lorraine Warren, were called in to help an average American family who were assaulted by forces too awesome, too powerful, and too dark to be stopped. It's a true story, supported by dozens of eyewitnesses - neighbors, priests, police, journalists, and researchers.

Loved how it's put together and woven into the picture of a nasty haunting and how those involved tried their hardest to exorcise themselves from it

Historia
Ross' ascent in WWE mirrors the rise of professional wrestling itself from a DIY sideshow to a billion-dollar business. Under the Black Hat traces all the highs and lows of that wild ride, in which Jim served not only as on-air commentator, but talent manager, payroll master, and even occasional in-ring foil to threats like Paul "Triple H" Levesque and Undertaker.

A Love Story
Revisado: 04-01-22
In both his professional work life and of his relationship with his late wife weaved into the book.
Great stories of the inner workings of the WWE behind the scenes. The politics, stress, trials and tribulations of both being an announcer and as an executive.
JR's passion for the wrestling business is evident in the narration. Lots of emotions and he is such a great storyteller I went through the book in one sitting and am on my second listen. It does hurt me to listen to him talk to me through the book about gas wife's passing after being such an integral part in the book while dealing with his work. That did get me teary eyed. I look forward to the third book, God willing he continues to live ong enough to regale us with the tales within AEW.

November 22, 2013 marks the 50th anniversary of the tragedy that has haunted America ever since. For the first time, this concise and compelling book pierces the veil of secrecy to fully document the small, tightly-held conspiracy that killed President John F. Kennedy. It explains why he was murdered, and how it was done in a way that forced many records to remain secret for almost 50 years. The Hidden History of the JFK Assassination draws on exclusive interviews with more than two dozen associates of John and Robert Kennedy.

Nothing new I learned in 2022. Maybe back when it was first released ok.
The book is good for someone who has the most minute knowledge of the assassination and brings all available info to said person.

Historia
The relationship between Freddie Mercury and Jim Hutton evolved over several months in 1984 and 1985. Even when they first slept together, Hutton had no idea who Mercury was, and, when the star told him his name, it meant nothing to him. Hutton worked as a barber at the Savoy Hotel and retained his job and his lodgings in Sutton, Surrey, for two years after moving in with Mercury. He was never fully assimilated into Mercury's jet-setting lifestyle, but, from 1985 until Mercury's death in 1991, he was closer to him than anyone and knew all Mercury's closest friends.

A wonderful love story
Revisado: 11-10-21
An intimate look into Freddie Mercury's personal life during the latter part of his with partner Jim Hutton. Going through the ups and downs of being with a rock star while maintaining as much privacy as well as the struggles of dealing with AIDS at the height of the epidemic. There were many moments through the author's words that had me smiling and with a tear in my eye sadness at the Queen band front man's antics and insight into life. Great listen.

Short short short. It is my fault for pressing the download button too fast but this shouldn't be on here as short as it is for the price paid. Very fast telling of a true story that barely gets you grasped to its tragedy.

Historia
Detective Michael Palermo built his career on his unique ability to inhabit two worlds at once: the world of law enforcement and the underworld of New York’s crime family organizations. Palermo participated in over 2,000 arrests while maintaining close relationships with the kingpins of organized crime - ties that allowed him to stay one step ahead of the rest of the New York City Police Department. This true crime drama takes you inside the police force at its most corrupt.

Historia
In this eye-opening book, angelologist Father Marcello Stanzione tells the fascinating story of Father Amorth and his life as an exorcist. You'll learn of his daily schedule and how he managed to perform dozens of exorcisms each week. You'll find out what his exorcism room looked like, and how various devils responded to his bold practice. Best of all, you'll hear Father Amorth's own startling explanations of many truths about the Devil that our culture has forgotten and about the canny methods the Deceiver has adopted in recent years to corrupt believers and unbelievers alike.

Its good and sometimes interesting but really comes out as a series of interviews with some background on the process of exorcism but with little actual recounted experiences. Not worth the price I paid, but that's my opinion.

In Patient Zero, Richard A. McKay presents a carefully documented and sensitively written account of the life of Gaetan Dugas, a gay man whose skin cancer diagnosis in 1980 took on very different meanings as the HIV/AIDS epidemic developed - and who received widespread posthumous infamy when he was incorrectly identified as patient zero of the North American outbreak.

Very detailed and informative book on the early AIDS epidemic.
Listen or read "And The Band Played On" before, as this book refers to and clarifies a lot of the information from that book and you'll get a better picture of the struggle people with the disease had to deal with.
