I thoroughly enjoy full cast narrations. They bring the story to life; like a television show. The sounds, background sounds, character portrayals are all so important in making it seem like you’re right there with them.

Narrator kinda ruined the characters

The story line is great! The narrator does not do different voices well. He made King Jahoakim (sp?) sound like a sniveling mouse. He spoke through his nose for other strong characters.

Overall it wasn’t terrible, but this would have been better done with a full cast or a narrator who can smoothly perform differing characters.

Still, it’s worth the credit to learn about this important character in the Bible.

Story line fantastic, narration - not so much

This story would have been well served with a full cast. Fantastic story! Well developed characters. BUT, it seems the narrator had a hard time distinguishing voices. He struggled with inflection at times making it sound monotonous and nasally. If I didn’t appreciate the story so much, I would have probably returned this for my credit.

Only 1 narrator is spot on

The female narrator is awesome in her performance. And, I don’t say that lightly as I don’t typically listen to female narrators.
The male narrator sounds like he has a hard time breathing. He takes a see breath after each sentence.
The story is fantastic. I actually would love to listen to this with a full cast and/or have it created into a movie.
Despite the breathless narrator, this is an excellent story and worth enduring his voice.

The story was fantastic and the narration was top notch! Highly recommend this listen! Characters and roles very well understood, I felt like this could have been a true story.

HORRIBLE NARRATION!

This narrator is intolerable! Don’t waste your time. In order to leave a review, I had to suffer through too much of her annoying voice. Thankful for the volume button!
The story has so much potential, but this narrator ruined it in every way!

Narration is a bit wonky

It is beyond my brain capacity to figure out why they have two narrators, but both read from both perspectives: male and female, throughout the book. Why not have the male read the male parts and the female read the female parts? Women trying to sound like men make them sound ridiculous, in my opinion. Men imitating female voices is more aurally pleasing.
Overall, though, the story is fun, cute, and worth a listen.

Eh, it’s ok

In my personal opinion, the author uses too many unnecessary words, making the story drag on.
The narrator isn’t bad, but he made men who were written as manly men, well… too often, he made them sound weak and unsure of themselves. The narrator made too many whiny variations of the characters. They were in tough situations, sure, but whiny is not what I would expect. Scared, yes.
The story, itself, isn’t bad - but it seems like a spin off of ‘I am Legend’.
