Historia
First comes a High, a period of confident expansion. Next comes an Awakening, a time of spiritual exploration and rebellion. Then comes an Unraveling, in which individualism triumphs over crumbling institutions. Last comes a Crisis—the Fourth Turning—when society passes through a great and perilous gate in history. William Strauss and Neil Howe will change the way you see the world—and your place in it. With blazing originality, The Fourth Turning illuminates the past, explains the present, and reimagines the future.

a meandering misunderstood attempt at a thesis.
Revisado: 04-22-24
The author often relies on literary characters to make a point rather than real instances. Attributing the characteristics of these literary characters to a generation which was written by either one or two generations previous from another characteristic set and is confused about what is being displayed. They only select those characteristics which fit their theories. .In order for the largest part of these theories to be true, we would all have to be robots living in one particular program to weigh for each generation. This is an interesting thesis, but ultimately it is not well written..

Colin Dickey is on the trail of America's ghosts. Crammed into old houses and hotels, abandoned prisons and empty hospitals, the spirits that linger continue to capture our collective imagination, but why? His own fascination piqued by a house hunt in Los Angeles that revealed derelict foreclosures and "zombie homes", Dickey embarks on a journey across the continental United States to decode and unpack the American history repressed in our most famous haunted places.

In the classic Our Haunted Planet, John A. Keel brings into chilling focus strange truths about the Earth and its mysterious inhabitants. Could an unseen, prehuman race have taken careful measures to remain hidden from surface dwellers? Are they still watching us from their secret hiding places, manipulating and misleading us, using us for their own entertainment, and controlling our actions?

When will authors realize their own personal feelings about the paranormal bear? No interest to those of us who were only interested in research to facts and not their fantasies or dreams or delusions. I feel I paid money to only hear some woman's dreams.

the story line and narrator kept my attention. if you're having doubts and think you're being attacked or haunted this will help you recognize what's going on amc when to call a priest for help. it never hurts though to have your home blessed by the priest prior to moving in and then once a year.

One day in 1872, self-taught Assyriologist George Smith was sifting through a pile of clay tablets when he realized he was reading about "a flood, storm, a ship caught on a mountain, and a bird sent out in search of dry land". This is the riveting story of the discovery of the world's first literary epic, the "Epic of Gilgamesh".

This book reads a though the author read the tablets and decided to write an ancient soap opera of sorts. It becomes difficult to separate historically documented facts from the tablet and his imagination. This is not useful for learning unless you like fantasy stories.

Historia
Lyndon Baines Johnson was a man of great ambition and enormous greed, both of which, in 1963, would threaten to destroy him. In the end, President Johnson would use power from his personal connections in Texas and from the underworld and from the government to escape an untimely end in politics and to seize even greater power. President Johnson, the thirty-sixth president of the United States, was the driving force behind a conspiracy to murder President John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963. In The Man Who Killed Kennedy, you will find out how and why he did it. Political consultant, strategist, and Libertarian Roger Stone has gathered documents and used his firsthand knowledge to construct the ultimate tome to prove that LBJ was not only involved in JFK's assassination, but was in fact the mastermind. With 2013 being the fiftieth anniversary of JFK's assassination, this is the perfect time for The Man Who Killed Kennedy to be available to readers. The research and information in this book is unprecedented, and as Roger Stone lived through it, he's the perfect person to bring it to everyone's attention.

The author seems more focused on reviewing his name drops of people that he worked or volunteered for rather than the details of the JFK assassination. of the assassination there are no new insights.
The last few chapters of the book descended to a confusing morass of his thoughts and experiences volunteering.

Historia
At its height, the Order of the Knights Templar rivaled the kingdoms of Europe in military might, economic power, and political influence. For 700 years the tragic demise of this society of warrior-monks amid accusations of heresy has been plagued by controversy, in part because the transcript of their trial by the Inquisition - which held the key to the truth - had vanished.Templar historian Barbara Frale happened to be studying a document at the Vatican Secret Archives when she suddenly realized that it was none other than the long-lost transcript!
