Thorough, entertaining and insightful
Revisado: 06-05-24
While it was a lengthy foray into the subject matter, it was a very entertaining and insightful approach to examine our history where we have been in a relatively short time and where we are going in an exceedingly accelerating pace. Well done!

Historia
Something new entered our world in November 2022—the first general purpose AI that could pass for a human and do the kinds of creative, innovative work that only humans could do previously. Wharton professor Ethan Mollick immediately understood what ChatGPT meant: after millions of years on our own, humans had developed a kind of co-intelligence that could augment, or even replace, human thinking. Through his writing, speaking, and teaching, Mollick has become one of the most prominent and provocative explainers of AI.

Concise, Insightful and Entertaining
Revisado: 05-07-24
This was a quick and engaging body of work full of insight, real world application, historical relevance, and future possibilities. Having read much on the subject it affirmed other thoughts I've had on the matters discussed, but would recommend it to someone new to the subject equally.

Historia
The internet of today is a far cry from its early promise of a decentralized, democratic network of innovation, connection, and freedom. In the past decade, it has fallen almost entirely under the control of a very small group of companies like Apple, Google, and Facebook. In Read Write Own, tech visionary Chris Dixon argues that the dream of an open network for fostering creativity and entrepreneurship doesn’t have to die and can, in fact, be saved with blockchain networks.

Knowing nothing about blockchain but hearing great things about the author, I jumped in. He made the complex simple and did a fabulous job using past, present, and future trends crafting his overall narrative. Highly recommended!

More people need to read this
Revisado: 11-30-23
I hesitated as it was a bit older than other recommended titles, but in our post pandemic times it is even more relevant and needed as the war for our attention continues to escalate into future generations. The message is excellent and consistent, the format is clear and effective, and it rounds to an awesome conclusion. Highly recommend this and wish it was required reading at High Schools.

Amazing insight and personal journey. Inspiring!
Revisado: 05-03-23
I have enjoyed many books this year based on Peter's podcast guests and have learned a tremendous amount on how I can pivot from previous unhealthy habits and thinking into shaping a better and more enlightened future. When his book came out, I jumped in, knowing he had spent so much time crafting the content and story. What was unexpected was the amount of heart and personal reflection Peter put into wrapping it all up. It was informative and insightful as expected, but it's brilliant emotional and personal finish brought it home. a must read or listen!
