Calloway's solid masculine approach is refreshingly original. We have all felt the warmth of the world around us and we have all felt the cold. This author holds our hand as he leads us down rich passageways of the psyche.

A wholehearted tapestry of beauty!

From the first page I was engrossed. This book is warm, relatable and authentic. I was taken to heavy, moody places then lifted to light and love just as he promised in his dialogue. The work flows like a movie. I recommend giving yourself the time to listen in one setting. The nature chapter is playfully fun and after that the best stories begin, taking you on a thoughtful ride of emotions. This book touched my heart and I will listen to it when I am in need of a friend.

This collection of story poems has it's very own passport, and is well traveled. Bits of relationship fodder, breezy excursions, seaside strolls, romance, and alien abductions flow like candy. Precise and entertaining, Calloway writes close to the matter, and then whisks you away to the next adventure.

Take the trip!

This book was a fun adventure. It moves quickly from story to story. Some are touching, others funny, while others are filled with emotion. My favorite audiobooks are ones like this that I can get into without spending hours trying to keep up. The man reading has an edge. My favorites are the darker ones and the ones that made me smile. (The one with the sofa happened to me) Is The Melody Lounge a real place? Who knows, I sure enjoyed the visit.

This book was touching, thoughtful and funny! These stories and poems flow in tone and mood at a pace that never allowed me to be bored. The Doris Day bit was so much fun. I loved the book.
