I thoroughly enjoyed the last installment in this saga! I gave it 5 stars across the board, but wish I could give the narrator's performance more than a mere 5 stars. Excellent acting.

Really disappointed with this Alastair Reynolds book. It was super boring. I kept with only because I can't part-way finish a book, plus I was hopeful that it would improve.
Trying to think of something that I liked...I think the performance was good.
What would have made it better? Not publishing this book.

This was a bit of a departure for me. I'm usually hard core sci-fi, maybe that's why I never could get into the storyline(s). Speaking of: there are way too many things going on! So many that I think it distracts, overall. The narrator did a really nice job...quite enjoyable!

Absolutely, and I have! This book is so fun and Will Wheaton is fabulous! Being a teenager in the 80s, this book was often a blast from the past...like totally!
What other book might you compare Ready Player One to and why?
I've never read anything like this book, which is saying something because I read and listen a lot! It's quite unique and tons of fun to listen to.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I wanted to, but I must sleep.

If you don't have the credits, buy it anyway. It's well worth it!

I have no idea. It is extremely difficult to follow and has way too many plot lines.

No, not at all! It has, however, turned me off of this author.

It hasn't. I actually find the subject matter pretty interesting, but this book was just really boring. I struggled to get through it.

What would have made The Partner better?
An ending that made some sort of sense. The ending was just about completely unrelated to the rest of the book.
Has The Partner turned you off from other books in this genre?
No
What does Frank Muller bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
He's a very good narrator.
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from The Partner?
THE ENDING. It would have totally been re-written to tie in with the rest of the story.

Grisham should be ashamed of himself.

This book had only unlikable characters. Terribly unlikable. The book started off very slow. It didn't really pick up speed for several hours into the book.

What about Julia Whelan and Kirby Heyborne ’s performance did you like?
LOVED the narration. Both narrators really played the characters very well. If not for their performance, I probably wouldn't have finished the book.
