Matthew 17:21 tells us that there are some spirits in a person, region, or nation that cannot be overcome without fasting. Many believers struggle with certain limitations that they cannot seem to break through. A revelation of the power of fasting will result in victories that would not be ordinarily obtained. A life of consistent fasting will cause many victories to manifest. God's will is for every believer to live a life of victory with nothing being impossible. There is freedom from the torment of the enemy!

Not for me - I believe in the power of prayer and fasting, but this comes from a stance that my actions will control God’s blessing and action. I think there were small nuggets of truth, but all of it was drenched in a “name it and claim it” theology that I just can’t get behind. I don’t normally write reviews and I typically always finish every book, even if I’m not that in to it, but this one I could not get through.

Sex change is a very broad term that refers to the process of a person or animal changing sex. This occurs naturally in some species of animals, but more often the term is used to mean sex reassignment surgery. The term can refer to either male sexual characteristics being substituted for female ones, or vice versa. The male to female substitution is much more common because it is by far the simpler of the two.

The book provides a good, quick introduction to basic aspects of gender & sex reassignment. My biggest qualm with the book is its recapitulation of the gender binary system. This system of thinking will inevitably conclude with the transgender person as a problem rather than an additional identity within the sex & gender spectrum of identities.

Good ideas & helpful tips - just missing the environmental component

Good ideas & helpful tips. It's easy to follow & doesn't oversimplify the complexity of human action. My only push back is that environment plays a huge role in influencing the types of opportunities one has access to. For example, the fact that I have the up bringing & resources to purchase this book makes me predetermined to be more likely to be successful. So the principles are helpful, but that is because I am already environmentally predisposed to success.

Misses key components of how racism operates. Such a topic should be given the depth it needs to really tackle the complexity of this issue. Trying to simplify it down to 13min does a disservice to really understanding how racism operated in society. Omi & Winant's "Racial Formation" or Beverly Tatum's "Why Are All The Black Kids Sitting Together..." are great books & give the complexity of this issue a thorough look ...
