Excellent cozy mystery

This is a new author to me and I enjoyed her debut book. I've added the others to my wish list. I also liked the reader.

Not worth the time

The leading characters were silly, not likeable and annoying. The story had a cute premise but quickly became tedious and aggravating. How often can one character fall off his horse? The author did little in the way of character development but instead kept adding more and more people to the story all of whom had bizarre quirks. I found the reader's voice and inflection not to my liking. I will avoid books by this author and reader.
