Historia
Through stories from her practice, Claire Lerner shows parents how making critical mind-shifts - seeing their children's behaviors through a new lens - empowers parents to solve their most vexing childrearing challenges. This process puts parents back in the driver's seat, where they belong, and where their children need them to be.

Historia
Father of cyberpunk William Gibson’s original script for Alien III, written in 1987 as a sequel to Aliens, never made it to our screens, although it went on to achieve cult status among fans as the third instalment that might have been after being leaked online. This terrifying, cinematic multicast dramatisation - directed by the multi-award-winning Dirk Maggs - is the chance to experience William Gibson’s untold story and its terrifying, claustrophobic and dark encounters between humans and aliens, as a completely immersive audio experience.

Historia
After decades of internecine warfare, the tribes of the Tiste Edur have at last united under the Warlock King of the Hiroth. There is peace - but it has been exacted at a terrible price: a pact made with a hidden power whose motives are at best suspect, at worst, deadly. To the south, the expansionist kingdom of Lether, eager to fulfill its long-prophesized renaissance as an Empire reborn, has enslved all its less-civilized neighbors with rapacious hunger. All, that is, save one - the Tiste Edur. And it must be only a matter of time before they too fall.

love this book so much
Revisado: 06-24-19
at first I really wasn't getting into the storyline and I kind of had to trudge through the first few chapters listening to him over and over and over for the first two chapters music I just couldn't make myself pay attention, but then something magical happened and I just push through that and fell in love with the story, this is definitely a highlight of the series so far so that says a lot right there it really helps the Malazan Series come into its own in a sense that you get very comfortable with the otherworldly names and topics that tend to get all muddled up within the previous books just not feeling all that familiar as I'm sure anybody who's read the series this far can relate to but the comfortability and understanding of this world really feels very comfortable in this book this point so no it was just a singular story regarding a culture we've had very little interaction with it up until this point that really he gets to focus and answer where the story is going as well as clearing up a couple of mysteries that have been prevalent up until this point

these books just keep getting better and better
Revisado: 06-08-19
these books just keep getting better and better and I was a little bit nervous about having a new narrator but Michael page knocks it out of the park and he's phenomenal as is the book itself, looking so forward to cracking the next installment in mere moments and so happy that got into the series Steven Erikson while being a confusingly intricate writer at times while mint in the sense that it's kind of hit the ground running with terms that are just exclusive to his fantasy world which wheeze me having to listen very very closely sometimes it also lends so much realism to his writings because like I said it hits the ground running it's like it how it would be if reading the history of 1842 in China direct from on top of the Great Wall from the eyes of Chen, basically it is a book that is about that world that is written like it was written in that world from the people on the ground thinking and talking like they do because that's how people think and talk in that world with their terms and so on so forth, and that's kind of Awesome

such an epic series so far, excited for the next 1
Revisado: 01-18-19
such an epic series so far so curious and excited intrigued and a little bit dumbfounded to read with the next installment and three books called as the past three books was an amazing story that I had no idea wood jump headfirst into epicness at breakneck speed in the first book end end this story on a level of godliness as the story evolved and matured delving into the hidden layers of reality itself. Brandon Sanderson and Michael Kramer, I'm so glad to have found you both through Wheel of Time series. you are both at the very very top of your respective games and continue what is forming into a tradition of excellence exhibiting works that put you amongst the very best I've ever experienced. so looking forward to continuing this series and then checking out The Stormlight Archives after I "regrettably" wrap this series up, though for now I remain blessed in the fact that is my first read of the series and I get to experience for the first time oh, and that's where I please and rate this serious as one of those ones that one can't help but to envy a person who's reading it for the first time after having read it their first time already as it is a great work all around in literary form as well as rendition

Perfection in Fantasy. Story/Narrators=Outstaning
Revisado: 06-28-18
totally amazing. book here The story is pure perfection, it's so well-written it leaves you itching to know what's next. The characters are so well developed and at this point, four books in, they feel like old friends who you've known forever do to their well-developed complexity which makes them both believable and unique individual human beings just like everybody else in the real world. The situations and the parallel story lines are amazingly written as well. You can really see this happening in some parallel universe and it's believable and far from Over the Top.
Further, the narrator's really go all in on this rendition to the point where you can even hear the perfect chilling background music that if you have a good speaker or you just listen you can hear it at very suspenseful Parts in the book and just add so much to it but so faint that it's almost subliminal and you can only pick it up on the very edge of hearing if you can at all that just adds to the amazing storytelling and is a new feature in this book by as far as I can tell was not in any of the previous three books. these are definitely two of the most amazing audiobook narrators I've ever heard in my life and one of the best books I've ever read it well, I can't believe how much I love this book and it's even better than three previous. also it's my first time reading The Wheel of Time series and its outstanding and I'm so happy that I've taken the time, because though 14 books may seem like a lot, it's just so damn good and I have a feeling once I'm done with the 14th book I'm going to be itching for more LoL! Hope that helps
