Historia
Freedom was a word Sloan had heard echo throughout Technohaven's districts. However, it was an idea that most of the city's citizens couldn't comprehend. Between manipulative automatons and limited digital currency, there was no room for growth—for life.

I struggled to finish
Revisado: 04-23-24
Story is just okay. Narrator's voice is pleasant but her cadence is off-putting. it sounds as if she can't believe what she's saying for the whole book.

Historia
Gretch Wolgast is a bit of a dud. Just ask her. She’s a 21-year-old college dropout who has a loser job at the mall. Sure, she can lift a tennis ball with her telekinetic powers. But only three feet in the air. And she has to be sitting. Gretch is an OP, one of thousands born in Orlando, Florida, in the early 1980s who mysteriously developed the ability to move things with their minds. Unfortunately, she turned out to be the weakest of the bunch. Now, Gretch’s life is being turned upside down. She witnesses a murder and discovers a wide-ranging conspiracy.

Fun story and LOVE the narrator
Revisado: 02-14-23
This was such a fun listen. I've never heard this narrator before, and I'm in love with her now! Need to find more books with her immediately.
This is one that I'd recommend to anyone.

Historia
When COVID-19 sweeps through New York City, Jamie Gray is stuck as a dead-end driver for food-delivery apps. That is, until Jamie makes a delivery to an old acquaintance, Tom, who works at what he calls “an animal rights organization”. Tom’s team needs a last-minute grunt to handle things on their next field visit. Jamie, eager to do anything, immediately signs on. What Tom doesn't tell Jamie is that the animals his team cares for are not here on Earth. Not our Earth, at at least. In an alternate dimension, dinosaur-like creatures named Kaiju roam a warm and human-free world.

Okay story
Revisado: 03-30-22
I enjoy everything Scalzi writes. This was my least favorite. It felt like it was written to meet a contract deadline which he confirmed in the epilogue. it was enjoyable enough that I finished it but it's not something I would recommend to anyone.
Wil did a great narration as always, so there's that to look forward to if you decide to pick it up.

Historia
In the 25th century, humankind has spread throughout the galaxy, monitored by the watchful eye of the U.N. While divisions in race, religion, and class still exist, advances in technology have redefined life itself. Now, assuming one can afford the expensive procedure, a person's consciousness can be stored in a cortical stack at the base of the brain and easily downloaded into a new body (or "sleeve") making death nothing more than a minor blip on a screen.

It's better on Netflix

I loved it on Netflix but struggled to get through the book even though this is my favorite genre.

Great Series
Revisado: 05-13-16
This is my 3rd time reading this series. The narrator does a great job using different voices for the different characters.
