A Great Philosophical Story

What a great story. Children and adults will get a kick out of this classic. Logic plays a large role in the story, and it is a quite enjoyable listen. Rainn Wilson is an excellent narrator.

While not as good as some of his other specials, this album is a great deal of fun. Gaffigan is personal, and thoughtful - and his insights are always humorous. I would certainly listen to this again - and I will!

What a great book. The narration is top notch, and I think the translation sounds very modern. Jim Dale make the book very enjoyable, as does the plot.

Excellent, Engaging, Smart Whodunit

If you could sum up The Westing Game in three words, what would they be?

This flew. The story was well crafted and kept my attention. The details are everything, and the book truly deserves multiple listens. Who killed Sam Westing? Which one of his many heirs will solve the crime? And why did the eccentric millionaire turn his own death into a game? I am a fan of mystery novels, and this certainly fits the bill.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Westing Game?

The scene where the will is read starts things off nicely.

What about Cassandra Campbell’s performance did you like?

The narration had feeling.

Very good, even though it drags a bit

Would you listen to Something Wicked This Way Comes again? Why?

I think so. The story was very good, and the performance was excellent. That said, it drags a bit the closer you get to the end. Sometimes the narration simply goes on too long.

What did you like best about this story?

The story gets very creepy, very fast. I enjoyed that aspect of the story. You can tell that Stephen King had this in mind when he wrote "It."

Moran is very funny. The album was easy to listen to, and I have done so about 10 times already.

What about Dylan Moran’s performance did you like?

His delivery is very good, as are his jokes. They are thoughtful and do a great deal with word play.

If you could sum up Breathe in three words, what would they be?

Relaxing, helpful, useful.

What did you like best about this story?

This gave really good techniques for getting rid of anxiety and learning how to re-breath. I listened to this out of desperation as I had been suffering from panic and anxiety due to work related stress. This really helped, and I was happily surprised. It was worth the money.

One of Carlin's Better Albums

I do not think this is his best album, but it is certainly one of his better ones. I have listened to it multiple times.

Would you consider the audio edition of The Collected Stories of Winnie-the-Pooh to be better than the print version?

If you are a fan of Stephen Fry and Judy Dench then this is something to pick up. I often listen to it before bed, and find myself truly relaxed after about 10 minutes. The stories are entertaining and the voice acting is very good.

Have you listened to any of Stephen Fry’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

His Sherlock Holmes stories are very good, and this is on par.

Where does Craic Dealer rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I liked this comic performance. It was witty and engaging. Reminded me a bit of an Irish Jim Gaffigan. I would listen to him again, certainly.

Jim Gaffigan, and Kathleen Madigan.
