Irritatingly biased reader

Would you try another book from Diane Ravitch and/or Eliza Foss?
NO. Although I agree with her ideas, Ravitch repeats too much. Needs tightening up.
What didn’t you like about Eliza Foss’s performance?
Ravitch's views were already biased and Foss's performance was so biased and overdone. I finally had to finish reading it with an ebook version.
Any additional comments?
This is the first time I have felt the reader got in the way of the author's ideas.

This volume describes the philosophic and religious divide inherent in the issues of materialism, chronicles the debacle of the welfare state, depicts the continued polarity between conservative and liberal camps, addresses the collapse of Communism in Europe, and investigates government obstacles to production as well as assaying future trends in work, including self-employment.

Carson very conservative

I bought the whole series of US history audiobooks by Clarence B. Carson. I enjoyed those covering up to 1900, but the later volumes are heavily biased on the conservative side. Now I wonder how fairly he treated the material in the earlier volumes.
