Barbra the Very Best

I enjoyed this so very much and appreciated her honesty and straightforward add-libs. It was long and worth the challenge of those precious hours of just Barbra and me. I am 10 years older than she is, but she brought back so much of my past, as my father was in the movie business. Thank you, dear Barbra.

Amazing story of survival

The writing was painful to listen to,
Ms. Davis’s proof of survival and fabulous accomplishments is truly amazing. I believe she deserves every happiness that God can give her. She is pure joy for us all to enjoy.

Wonderful and engrossing writing.

I read this novel several years ago from Kindle. It had stayed in my mind and when I found out it was available on Audible, I wanted to repeat it. So much more touching and emotional this time. I shall hold on to it, and listen again sometime. I am 89.

It made me revive my own life’s story and deep feeling for the almost forgotten past. It’s a sweet sadness that probably lies within all of us, if we can conjure up the language to express it. I’m nearly 90.

Unexpectedly fabulous!

I saw her on the Jimmy Kimmel late night show. Just listening to her talk, I knew I had to get the book, which I did that night. I have listened to the entire book in two days and loved it. I feel like I know her. She reads her words so beautifully. It was a great listening experience. Needless to say, I loved it.
