Weird ending. I feel like it didn't really end. Maybe I missed something.

Courtroom strategy.

Mickey Haller was good. Also enjoyed the defense attorney.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The concern that Bosch has for his daughter.
The victim's sister - her life and how the murder of her sister affected her.

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
I would recommend this book in written form. The narrating for the audio version is almost too much to bear. After listening to the introduction to the book, I almost didn't go further. It is the individual stories that kept me interested. Short stories but to the point with each one. Effective.
How could the performance have been better?
Less robotic, too staccato. It could be made better by a more natural reading of the stories.

The Jewish references, a kind of cultural lesson for me, a Christian. And, the love of family.

The detective stuff. The mind of figuring out a puzzle.
