This is one of those books that's easy to listen to and you're able to get fully absorbed in the storyline. I also absolutely love the narrator Julia Motyka.

Love the Narrator. Cute storyline!

I love the story about a woman alchemist living in a modern world trying to keep her head down, but being authentic to the life she has chosen. She meets friends along the way including a gargoyle who she is helping from living a life encased in stone unable to move, but still mentally aware of all that goes on around him.
She creates a family that she loves and protects them. There are many hilarious moments along the way. Very cute!

Loved this story and the narrator.

I loved this story and the narrator. There were a couple of chapters that were almost hard to listen while driving as they were racked with sexual chemistry. Nothing graphic. Just pure attraction. I felt that I was part of the journey becoming a newly born vampire. Not just a vampire, but a strong above average vampire that sees things in her own unique way. Loved the story. My first rating of all 5's.

The narration was one of the best I've listed to so far. Will look for more books by this narrator.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked the idea of a housewife assassin. Thought the concept was great. Like the plot. Liked the narrator. Book wasn't too long and it was perfect to listen to while painting my bedroom.

Which character – as performed by Melissa Moran – was your favorite?

The main character is pretty cool. She has a no nonsense attitude and takes the death of her husband in stride. She does what any housewife would do in a situation where her livelihood is gone, she takes a job as an assassin. Who wouldn't? You need to feed the kids......

Where does Night of the Living Deed rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This is one of my favorite books on audio so far. I am definitely going to purchase more books by this author and hopefully they have the same narrator.

What did you like best about this story?

The story line was cute. The narrator kept your interest and it was light hearted yet engaging. This is one of my all time favorite audible books. I couldn't wait to get in my car and listen to it.

The story line was simple but the interaction between the characters was cute, plus there was enough intrigue to keep you guessing. A lot of laughs. Loved the interaction between the main character and her young daughter and then between the main character and her mother. Very entertaining.

Fun and Enjoyable! Great narration.

What made the experience of listening to Venom the most enjoyable?

The narrator is great. The story is about an elemental assassin. Or should I say reformed assassin. Her good friend is a dwarf. She hangs with vampires and giants. They all live in a weird world with bad cops and they own private order, which all makes for a fun story line.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Gin. Because she's COOL! She's tough and you get inside her brain.

Which character – as performed by Lauren Fortgang – was your favorite?

Lauren is great. Love her voice.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

GIN - the ultra cool assassin!

The story can drag a little and sometimes my mind drifts a little bit, but overall this is a very fun book.

Since the Warrior is from another planet and very romantic and exciting the narrator tried to give him a different sound, but it ended up being very cheesy. In print you're free to imagine the Warrior as you would like him to sound. I think the narrator has a great voice, but the Warrior wasn't what I thought he should be and I couldn't get past it.
