I can’t get enough of this series

I am speechless and dying to know what happens next. The story and narration are on point. You’re on book 8 my opinion shouldn’t matter to you. You already know what this series is about and this just added so much to it. Again so good

Man if you’re this far along in the series you know how crazy it can get. There is so much being brought to the light and then you’re getting teased with it. I just fished this and like a crack head i neeed the next one! Great installment Chris!

By no means were books one and two slow but they walked so the book 3 could run. This has so much that happened and I can’t wait for book 4 now. I am fiending hard.

WOW just WOW so freaking good

I have been sitting in here for at least 10 minutes now trying to figure out how to put into words how freaking good this book was.

DJ has found his Adrian voice and just brought this book to life.

Chris's writing in this book was top notch and I feel like the pace and the substance of the story just pulled you in and then gutted you in all the right ways.

Carl's contribution to this story with lockeys view and takes on Adrian and the continuing of her story we're just plain ol good and made me feel like Adrian got saved a little by meeting her.

I can't recommend this story enough and I will now be going into withdrawals until the next book is released.

This book is the perfect 2nd outing for Diggory. it picks up shortly after the action of book 1 and takes that pace and dials it up a notch.

The characters and world are much more fleshed out and I have to say I loved the humanization that is brought into the story for people involved with the twelve is great and almost makes you want to like them.

Do yourself a favor and get this book

From start to finish it's just plain good.

You meet a flawed yet relatable character in a world that isn't what it seems. His self deprecating tendencies show the depth that the character is aware of his flaws and shortcomings but you get to watch him come into his own and rise to the occasion in a messed up situation and all the intrigue and mayhem that comes along when dealing with the occult.

The voice author pulls you in and you feel like you're listening to a friend. I personally recommend 1.20 speed. but you do you!

10/10 would recommend!
