Historia
First published in Portuguese in 1968, Pedagogy of the Oppressed was translated and published in English in 1970. Paulo Freire's work has helped to empower countless people throughout the world and has taken on special urgency in the United States and Western Europe, where the creation of a permanent underclass among the underprivileged and minorities in cities and urban centers is ongoing. This 50th anniversary edition includes an updated introduction by Donaldo Macedo, a new afterword by Ira Shor, and many inspirational interviews.

Know your enemy
Revisado: 09-03-24
I read this as an original source for the far Left extremism in America today. I’d heard from others about this as one of the intellectual contributions to the wolf in sheep clothing that is “DEI, ESG, social emotional learning,” etc. and I can now say that’s true. It presents itself as reasonable analysis of a perceived inequitable society today, but offers a recipe for disaster to combat it in the form of cultural revolution whose end goal is socialism/communism. It’s intellectual alchemy at best, and nonsense bordering on disastrous civilizational ruin at worst. Read it, understand it, and know its tactics so you can see your enemy clearly.

More relevant today than ever
Revisado: 08-21-24
I’ve loved every book I’ve read by Sowell. This one in particular traces a straight line to today’s critics of academia like James Lindsay and Chris Rufo. Give it a listen and check out their books too and you’ll see what I mean.

Historia
In You Can’t Joke About That, Kat Timpf shows why much of the way we talk about sensitive subjects is wrong. We’ve created all the wrong rules. We push ourselves into unnecessary conflicts when we should feel like we’re all in this together. When someone says “you can’t joke about that,” what they really mean is “this is a subject that makes people sad or angry.”

Great Life Lessons
Revisado: 05-16-23
Thank for sharing your story with us. I’m a huge fan of yours on Fox and saw from the beginning you always kept it real and I respect that. Great sense of humor too. I especially loved how well you illustrated each hard knock and life lesson that came from it. My only critique is how fast you read and sometimes just ran sentences together without a pause at the periods. Other than that, I loved it!

Bombshell of a book!
Revisado: 03-24-22
This book is chock full of info implicating the Biden family in so many unethical and corrupt ventures. I don’t understand why they haven’t had the book thrown at them. This is a great book and shed light on a lot of things that can be verified as fact. Highly recommend!!!!

Motivating and funny
Revisado: 10-26-21
Although there isn’t much practical advice I did enjoy the personal stories from the author. I also felt like there was a lot of great motivation to get off ones ass and pursue your dreams. The humour and wit made it a fun listen After a while the voice of the author and her pace of speaking, Fast then slow then fast and slow was a bit annoying. Overall I thought it was a great read, next time I’ll read it in print though.

Historia
Black Americans have long been shackled to the Democrats. Seeing no viable alternative, they have watched liberal politicians take the Black vote for granted without pledging anything in return. In Blackout, Owens argues that this automatic allegiance is both illogical and unearned. She contends that the Democrat Party has a long history of racism and exposes the ideals that hinder the Black community’s ability to rise above poverty, live independent and successful lives, and be an active part of the American dream.

LISTEN TO THIS BOOK!
Revisado: 06-09-21
As always Candace delivers the TRUTH! I loved this book. I’ve been a supporter and fan of Candace Owens’ talks on campus, that I watch online, her work with Prager U and anything else I can find. Candace backs up her points with actual REAL data and REAL history. Highly recommend this book to everyone you know, as I will!

In 1968 the world experienced a brand-new kind of terror with the debut of George A. Romero's landmark film Night of the Living Dead. This was something new...and terrifying. Since then, zombies have invaded every aspect of popular culture. But it all started on that dreadful night in a remote farmhouse. Nights of the Living Dead returns to that night, to the outbreak, to where it all began.
