So much going on
Revisado: 01-23-25
Love this series. This book was one of the longest I not the longest so far in the series. So much happening within this story and there are hints of a wider universe. Really love the character development and continued growth of a lot of the characters. Can't wait for the next one.

Great tale and possible final book from an author who has provided me with so much entertainment for 30 years now. Thank you Tad for crafting such a wonderful world and beautiful characters. I will continue to share them with my children in the hopes they love your work as much as I have.

Revisado: 11-14-24
Reynolds continues his excellence with Dante, Blaise, and the rest of the cast by giving them life as a narrator. The story felt like it was never going to end at times, but it was an excellent rollercoaster to have experienced. Sad it's over but great job Ed and thank you for the ride!

Historia
Destroying the portals between worlds was supposed to force the entity out of Rale. Instead, it's trapped him there. This has cut Nolost off from much of his power, buying some time to try to stop him from annihilating the world. Dante and Blays' last hope lies in finding someone or something called the Burdan rah Saylan. Knowing nothing about the Burdan except for their name, they travel far to the east into lands they've never heard of.

The story progresses but seems to spin wheels at times. Reynolds provides the personality to keep listeners engaged at these times. Hopefully the next book wraps things up nicely.

Historia
Mia Corvere has found her place among the Blades of Our Lady of Blessed Murder, but many in the Red Church hierarchy think she’s far from earned it. Plying her bloody trade in a backwater of the Republic, she’s no closer to ending the men who destroyed her familia; in fact, she’s told directly that Consul Scaeva is off limits. But after a deadly confrontation with an old enemy, Mia's suspicions about the Red Church’s true motives begin to grow.

Historia
Years ago, the magnificent dragon queen Tintaglia forged a bargain with the inhabitants of the treacherous Rain Wilds. In exchange for her protection against enemy invaders, the humans promised to protect an unhatched brood of dragons. But when the dragons emerged as weak and misshapen hatchlings unable to fend for themselves, dragonkind seemed doomed to extinction. When even Tintaglia deserted the crippled young dragons, the Rain Wilders abandoned the burden of caring for the destructive and ravenous creatures.

FitzChivalry - royal bastard and former king’s assassin - has left his life of intrigue behind. As far as the rest of the world knows, FitzChivalry Farseer is dead and buried. Masquerading as Tom Badgerlock, Fitz is now married to his childhood sweetheart, Molly, and leading the quiet life of a country squire. Though Fitz is haunted by the disappearance of the Fool, who did so much to shape Fitz into the man he has become, such private hurts are put aside in the business of daily life, at least until the appearance of menacing, pale-skinned strangers casts a sinister shadow over Fitz’s past...and his future.
